So beautiful, so simple. I shared this with friends, dedicating it to those who died in the war with Azerbaijan. May all who survived be comforted by our Lord Jesus.
I'm follow to you from Turkey, i love this folk music.
This was Amazing! Thank you so much for this song. I'm listening this in 2019, but Armenian folk can't be old. Love you from motherland Armenia🇦🇲

Are there lyrics in English? Would love to know what they are actually singing about.
Alex H Can’t translate the whole lyrics, but the song is about a woman who hasn’t seen her beloved one for a very long time, and she asks and begs nature (winds, mountains, rivers) any news about him, because she can’t find him,,,,it sounds very sad but also so powerfull in armenian
It's about someone who has lost their loved one to the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and how they regret that they were powerless and will have to spend their whole life without them now

why you're killing the song? you better not sing this way..Komitas wouldn't be happy to hear you.
Kimberly Kimberly he would be happy to hear anyone speak his language after what happened in 1915 ...
Komitas has nothing to do with this song. It is Armenian folk song wich was registered by another famous Armenian folk collector Grigor Mirzoyan (Suny) in the begining of 20 th century and after was modified by famous Soviet Armenian singer and composer Hovhannes Badalyan.
Why would you say that?! How rude!! 😮
