I know this is a little late, but was there any template or anything that came with the instructions for the screws (even though you didn’t use them)? I want the spoiler, but would prefer to use the screws with a template so I don’t screw it up
Hi there, do you have a copy of the installation template? Coz I bought a used spoiler and it came without template. Appreciate if someone can help me here
@@nikolaiiaksenov Not yet he means. It will happen the poor sod he sells the car to about 6 years from now. The tape is not designed to secure it on it's own and the adhesive will break down in the long term, they give the bolts for a reason, use them.
No, no, no, no, no... this is unsafe nonsense. They gave you the bolts for a reason, use them. You're literally taping your car together... that doesn't become ok just because it's a double sided tape and everyone can't see that jank at first glance. I get it, you're reluctant to put holes in your 86. Tough luck, make the holes or lose the wing. Where I am the dealers only brought the version with the big wing... so I've got the holes and I'm stuck with them, want to replace it with what you have, but painting parts requires traffic department approval and before even that, the dealer doesn't know how to order the part, they keep saying they can only get the parts in their system for the version of the car they imported.
im thankful you can avoid the drilling
