Good news man! I came across someone on ebay, that was selling the ps5/pc pro kit that was purchased in January, and in excellent condition but he just upgraded to the simagic 23nm kit. I ended up purchasing it for $675 but after my rewards it was only $625. Can't wait man, all I need now is some pro pedals.
Already had the Wheel and Pedals for over a year now. Love them, excited for new wheels but I bought the RS Shifter! It’s worth every penny! Love it so far!
Thanks for the review. I love my Logitech dd wheel and was hoping for someone's review. I'm resisting the urge to upgrade now so I can purchase the Momo in January.
One thing that caught me out was not having an updated wheel base to the latest version. Nothing worked! 🙂 Easily fixed though. I love the Track Wheel, much easier on the thumbs as I don't like wearing gloves. Really impressed with it!
I've got a G pro for ps and pc and tbh I think the stock wheel is perfect so don't think I'll be buying a new rim .Also I bought and F1 rim on my old TM system and didn't like it so had to buy a round wheel .I'm not happy with them losing the extra clutch paddle ,even tho I never use them
Watched your review 2 says ago and got my rim and hub today. Totally forgot about your warning about the plastic covering the screw hole and spent a minute going crazy.
Disappointed at launch because of the look and contemplated just getting hub but decided otherwise at last moment for various reasons. Was then thinking of getting a wheel plate from Acelith when they had one but now that I have the Logitech offering realisingthatb it may grow on me. The ergonomics and feel of the grip have totally swayed me from the acelith option unless they can do something similar.
Good stuff Naughty. I bought the shifter/handbrake and just the track wheel "plate" or "rim", but without a new wheel hub. I was planning to switch it with my D rim, but the D rim plate does not slide off over the little "joy stick" (the navigational joystick thingy controlled with left thumb). Is anyone aware of a way to remove the little joystick? I've tried twisting it and pulling on it, but am worried i'll break it. It looks like I may need to buy a new wheel hub to go with the new rim.
Just put whatever wheel you want on it or is the bolt pattern on the d wheel not the standard bolt pattern? Kind of scummy if they made it different so you can only use their wheels.
The six bolt pattern on the D wheel would've been able to allow for these wheel plates to go directly on it. It seems as though the holes for the buttons to go through do not line up exactly though, so that's really the issue here. Logitech did release an adapter for after market wheels though so if you're doing PC only gaming you can use this: www.logitechg.com/en-us/products/driving/rs-qr-adapter.943-001449 You just need to check the comparability
At 10:47 you say you feel your hands slipping, but in the video I noticed you have 3 fingers on the up-shift paddle? Shift with one finger and leave the rest holding the wheel...... slipping problem fixed.
Kinda bums me that Logitech seems to be moving toward the non budget segment i was really excited for a gt style wheel that doesn't have a expensive wheelbase hopefully they release a bit of a trimmed down entry level wheelbase
@@McNaughty I don't remember seeing that when I purchased mine. I bought the XBox version (for use on a PC). Seems like I should have bought the Playstation version though, so I could now get the XBox version of the new RS Hub and have compatibility with all 3 systems.
Btw have you played Forza Motorsport ?I bought it last week on pc,it supports Trueforce now and ia actually a great game and enjoying my racing again .
So let me be clear if I purchase the ps5 wheel base and the xbox rs wheel hub and track wheel this will work on my ps5 with gt7. Just confirming because I've seen some others online saying that this wasn't recognized on their ps5 wheel base. Great video btw. Also is the logitech d wheel worth skipping for this?

I'm still doing some research and someone in my area is offering a really good deal on some fanatec gear, but I'm somewhat afraid to touch them at the moment even though I'm pretty new to sim racing. Just don't won't to make the wrong choice on whoever I go with.

We got them as soon as they came out and we love the track wheel. But the original D wheel is also amazing.

How do I connect the wheel to the Pc? Do I set the base to PC to be able to do the setup?
I feel somewhat put off by needing to add stickers to align the buttons for PS. Would have preferred a PS wheel hub.

The original only had 2 types - either Playstation+PC or XBox+PC.
All wheels were compatible with PC, but there in fact WAS a PC only offering.

Since I got the G Pro I never drive without gloves anymore.....too much callousing
