    When you add those components you've mentioned it even makes the speaker seem more attractive. Wish they taught this in South African schools, would make public speaking so my much easier. Thank you and god bless.

    Hi Prof .I just have learned that adjecties and nouns are stressed in the first syllables .And the second syllables are stressed in verbs .That is my rule.But I know that E is the language of exceptions .THNKS.

I am a science student struggling English as my second language and am still seeking a systematic method to learn conversational English more effectively. I felt very disappointed when you said there is no simple way to recognize which syllable in a vocabulary is the stress, but your video is very helpful.

    I learned about phonetic symbols few years ago and just forget about it because i think it's so difficult. Now i just know about syllable stress that can we seen by its phonetics symbol.
