This is very useful knowledge! I didn't notice the pronunciation of PRESENT, I learned that. But when I was learning syllables, I met a problem, that is, if I don't know how to pronounce the word, how can I judge how many syllables it has?

I learned about phonetic symbols few years ago and just forget about it because i think it's so difficult. Now i just know about syllable stress that can we seen by its phonetics symbol.
