I love the wholesome father-daughter handholding moment. 7:58 Velvette was already struggling to cope without her phone, and after the the other Vees died she couldn't take it any more and thought the mean old cannibal lady would be willing to put her out of her misery. Instead Susan spent hours ranting at her about how it's no fun if someone WANTS to be killed, which apparently actually restored Vel's determination. She even manages to chase away Lucifer, but Lucifer finally decides to get revenge for killing his daughter (or at least being part of the fight) AND killing his daughter's lover. She must have been really persuasive to forestall his wrath as long as she did.
