So these LIthium batteries cab replace lead acid batteries in this scooter? And you just get a different charger? How is the power difference when you run the scooter? Would you need turn your speed down? How about fire hazard?
@sheilavives1137 This upgrade is definitely safe. Old lithium batteries maybe but not this upgrade. You'll notice the difference with range and how stable the battery health is through the years. I went to lithium and the stock charger will charge the lithium batteries. Just takes longer to charge. Basically the factory 2a charger will take 10 hours to charge the 20ah lithium if completely drained.

I heard lithium is better than SLA. Its a shame SLA is more affordable. Do you have any lithium scooter recommendations that are under 1k?
