This is the one thing that I hate that they've taken away from these pregame shows is the look around the league at every early game kickoff stadium. This used to be my favorite segment of the pregame shows.
I liked the FoxWatch. Gives a glimpse of what’s happening. Since Pat and John left, it’s turned into a comedy act, though Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are top class.
Back before the NFL Network and before everyone had internet and social media. Miss those days sometimes. Everything wasn't so saturated with NFL 24/7. I actually had to wait until Sundays pregames to get updates on everything and the latest news. Now there's pregames for the pregames. Haha. Just overwhelming
San Francisco (44) - St. Louis (10) Atlanta (24) - Tampa Bay (21) New Orleans (3) - Carolina (20) Detroit (30) - Washington (36) Minnesota (21) - Green Bay (38)
Back then they just said it was politically sensitive and kept it moving right along without putting their emotional 2 cents in and highjacking half the segment to harp about it!
James Brown is with CBS. Terry, Howie, and Jimmy are still on Fox. Jimmy left briefly to coach the Dolphins. Summerall was on the lead Fox team with John Madden until the 2001 season. Buck, with the St. Louis reference because his dad did the baseball Cardinals games for years, is the NFL & MLB on Fox lead play-by-play guy. Thom Brennaman, like Buck whose dad was a baseball guy, I think is still with Fox. Kevin Harlan is with CBS and does the NBA on TNT.
Ironically, the Week 8 Game in 1995 between the San Francisco 49ers at St Louis Rams at Busch Stadium was the last game the Rams played at Busch Stadium and the last home game they would play outdoors.
Yep....as a NY Giants fan, after winning the Super Bowl in '86, their fall from grace the following year was firmly cemented with a 27-24 loss in St Louis on December 13, 1987. This would be the last game the Cardinals would ever play in St Louis.
1995 mark the first time since 1987 an NFL team play in St. Louis, MO. The Rams will spent playing in the city of St. Louis for 20 seasons until the team relocated back to Los Angeles, CA.
It's now one of the best stadiums in MLS. When Charlotte FC plays its home matches, most games are at half-capacity, but the fans make it sound like its a full, 75,000-seat venue.
Terry Bradshaw and HOWIE long is my favorite NFL football player all time and Jimmy Johnson is the greatest head coach Dallas cowboys have super bowl ring
Bad assessment by JJ on Keith Jackson. He signed with GB and won a SB with them the following year, made the Pro Bowl, and rode off into retirement a champion.
They went 7-9 They had veterans as of Sam Mills Frank Reich Don Beebe Pete Metzalarss Dwight Stone Willie Greene and Rookie Kerry Collins. And ex Steelers coordinator Don Capers and they beat the 49ers in Week 10 in Candlestick.
+Tom Bradley November 12 1995 during a home game in Week 10 against former NFC divisional rival Carolina leaving Week 8 as the final home game at Busch Stadium

you know you're a football fan when your watching a pre-game show from week 8 of the 95' season

Elvis Grabc's finest year of his pro football days came as a backup in 1995 . As a starter, he was garbage.

There was no one better calling a game then than Pat Summerall.
You are correct, don’t forget about Dick Enberg 😉
Perfect voice for play by play football

My mom is from Chicago and the late game she saw on WFLD was Packers-Vikings and the Packers won.

Funny how former Fox show guy Chris Collinsworth (who didn’t arrive til Jimmy briefly left) went on to get the best gigs (Sunday/Thursday night).
World Trade Center @ 14:22. I still shake my head anytime I see it in past media.

What a shame what our own government did that day

Howie reeling off those pushups like it was nothing. you can tell he was still fairly recently retired

Damn, look at a young Tony Dungy with a hair line ! And a fade to go with it. Lol
5 million$ a year was a astronomical amount in 1995!
I actually wish the Panthers stayed at Clemson. It is a much cooler stadium than the one they built

Wayne Fontes team went on to win 8 of the last 10.
***** He was a players coach and his players always ralied to help keep his job. It was somewhat similar this season with the Lions under Caldwell.

Hey, who is doing the voice-over narration here (starting at 2:50)?
Dick Ervasti, one of the best in the business.
