Girl, you were born to make music, I am so impressed with you! You pick something up and just play it, sing it, make it work for you. The instrument is far too expensive for me, but I hope to hear more of it with you playing it. Thank you for showing it! Have a beautiful weekend! ❤
Intriguing. Was that Les Paul turning in his grave? 🙃 This would go well with a sax-a-boom for sure. Hey Jack, are you watching? All kidding aside, well played, and a great backing track resource. Thanks for the video. Happy New Year !
Hi Stephanie, as a guitarist it's pretty well a certainty that something like this wouldn't appeal to me. In reality all you have here is a keyboard that does one finger chords in a guitar shaped box and costing much more than you could pickup a decent Yamaha or Casio keyboard for. Something that may interest you and a lot of your viewers viewers to make backing tracks at no cost at all is a free piece of software called "Chordpulse Lite" The free version is not just a trial once you download it it's yours forever. It's simple to use and I think sounds very good. Spend ten minutes putting in the chord sequence you want and your laptop becomes your backing band. When you get a moment here's a link to a recording I made using "Chordpulse Lite" a few years ago. I was new to multitrack recording back then so it's not perfect but I think it shows what a great piece of free software it is. ruclips.net/video/PwP29-YxeOw/видео.html
@@Reeldin58 thank you 😊 I've made a video before showing folks how to make backing tracks for free from home using similar apps and other programs. Definitely a great way to do it at an affordable price or less ❤️ Granted this isn't going to be for everyone. This is effectively just a sampler, but you do require decent rhythm and some understanding of music theory to get the most out of it, as you need to press the chords at the right time to get them to sound correctly. You can play multiple keys in the keyboard at the same time too so you can certainly embellish pre-existing chords with intricate melodies/harmonies. It's pretty customisable which I like and the sound quality is great, plus I think the 'look' and feel of it might be more appealing than just an app for some. You certainly do have to actively 'play' this as an instrument in order to make music, rather than just laying the chords out in a programme that plays it for you - so maybe for someone who would love to learn to play but doesn't have the time (or patience) to spend learning, this could be great 😁 This sort of thing has actually been pretty popular with folks who used to play guitar and now struggle to because of arthritis, and also people with disabilities that prevent them from using traditional instruments. That sort of accessibility is really wonderful! ❤️
@@CutiepieTinWhistle Hi Stephanie, I can see there would be an appeal for something like this for a guitarist who isn't able to hold down chords with their left hand anymore, like you say maybe due to arthritis and of course still wants to play music but it could never replace a real guitar. I don't mean to be negative about it but as you say it's more or less a sampler and at the £400 plus price tag they maybe would have done better to reduce the spec a little and been able to offer it at a more affordable price. Seems to me from a whistle player's perspective for that kind of money you could buy pretty much any whistle you wanted and have enough left over for a nice Yamaha home keyboard that would have onboard digital samples and make great backing tracks. I'm certainly not a keyboard player but I have a Yamaha PSS F30 which is one of their lower end keyboards but it has very usable onboard sounds that I believe are digital samples and a transposer so I play in C and change it to suit the song, just a basic knowledge is all that's required for that too. I picked that up from Ebay for about £50. More often than not I pre programme bass and drum sounds with Chordpulse then build up my track with electric guitars and my virtuoso one finger keyboard parts. I still play my whistles when I can but at the moment I'm working in the evenings and play for an hour when I get home and my family don't appreciate a whistle at 1am
@Reeldin58 definitely! It's certainly a product designed with the younger generations in mind too I think, those spending this sort of money regularly on gadgets, games and phones. Smart tech galore (I don't know where they get the cash 😅 haha). I'm lucky in so much as I get to try a lot of these products for free, I certainly wouldn't be able to afford to buy everything I've reviewed. I think it depends what your disposable income is, what your spare time looks like, what your music goals are etc. This will be perfect for someone, and the wise idea in the world for someone else 🤷♀️ but at least now people have the info they need to help them choose ❤️
Any thoughts about doing a comparison video with this instrument, the LiberLive C1, and the Lava Genie? That would be incredibly cool (if you can persuade the manufacturers to let you “borrow” one for a while)! 🙂
You're so natural with all these instruments, I' m curious what was you're job before the tin whistle? Your ' re Great !!!!!!!! Kisses from Brazil!!!!!

I think they could be some kind of market for this kind of guitar, keyboard, drum machine. Whatever else it's got built in. Gosh everything about the kitchen sink. My gosh. What next? It could be teaching and learning tool for youngster who's wanting to learn guitar I'm trying to keep an open mind about this when I first saw it. I didn't know what to think but I'm keeping an open slate an open mind and I'm sure there's a market out there if I had a youngster who wanted to learn guitar male or female and she was very he or she was around or 6:00 to 10 or 12:00 somewhere around there, I'll consider purchasing this for them and then go on to 6th Street electric and then an acoustic after electric would be easier for them to. For the threat in hand, it'll be easier for them and then later on to an acoustic and so I'm keeping an open mind. I don't know about anybody else, does anyone else agree with me? And you're wondering? It's been a long time playing with guitar or another break with guitar, but it'd be nice to hear other people's comments. God bless!
@@jobyemprestimoconsignado5890 I'm pretty sure there are lots of people still playing real instruments 😊 certainly something like this is never going to fully replace a guitar or piano. It's not bad considering you get an acoustic guitar, piano, electric guitar and drum set all in one - but yes, a bit of an initial investment...
As always Stephanie, you are reinventing yourself. Brilliant 👏
