Friends, dont worry, this street is completely safe for visitors, I often pass by and just wanted to show. There are a lot of young girls now, as the tourist police does not let them on the Walking Street, so they are sitting there in different places.
Seems like it should be titled "Everywhere but Walking Street is Dark and Could Be Dangerous" And I've walked into shadier areas than that all over the world, the thing that makes it dangerous is when you walk around filming things like a tourist that doesn't belong there.
Focusing on girls is 1000 times more interesting than spending 99% of video focused on boring road surface and boring vehicles. Unfortunately only about 1second of time is focused on girls
Exposed to so much danger, its hard to believe that you made it out alive. Down past the Wild Orchid, (The only place you almost encountered danger, by the vehicle jumping the curb during that 1KPH high speed turn) 20 years ago, that was a popular hang out for college girls looking to generate a little income. With the development of blow row and that big hotel on the corner, i would say it is far safer today. I personally miss the good old days of that dusty little town.

I was in Angeles and Makati just before covid. More action on any of the nightlife streets in Phnom Penh. Pattaya superior in all ways.
