Can't wait for the 1 year Happy Birthday Special Episode : ) Still sometimes get sidetracked watching the elevators go up and down the building in the background. Apart from an episode or two ago where a massive projecter screen was blocking the window ha. Always loved the dynamic between yourself and Matt Charlie, since back in the BF3 double vision days. I can't be the only one who isn't surprised it was Apex, That's the one game I don't regret uninstalling
Apex players seem to prioritize competition over fun. I'm loving The Finals because it has a healthy balance of competitive and goofy gameplay!

I'm enjoying the new Siege update - haven't played since like 2017. Got a new squad, cross-progression finally worked so I have some cosmetics from my old console account, and quick match is a a fun, fast, casual way to enjoy the game
Once upon a time I was thinking about FPS games and thought a idea for a FPS game and called it Disavowed. You would create your own character that would be a high trained agent that would be left to their own devices do to a mission going sideways. The campaign would be were you we surviving, finding clues about what went wrong, whos after you and any additional force that either helped or harm your progress. The PVP would have been more like call of duty but at the time I was on a big COD high but I hated the idea of prebuilt character/operator and wanted to have a game to make my own.
Star citizen will forever be known to me as Scuff Citizen. I don't think it'll ever not have bugs
We didn't have cheating to this degree back in the Golden Era of cod. Glad I got to experience that. 😊

I think Matimi0 was right with Grey Zone Warfare. They are really striving for that PvE squad based gameplay that something like ground branch or ready or not offers.
However, I think they wanted to leave the door open for PvP for high level quests and high value loot areas.
Perhaps addressing one of the most frustrating issues with Tarkov, being no matchmaker and getting slammed as a new player.

half the time I can't tell if I'm getting beamed because someone's using mouse and keyboard or they're cheating cause ive had too many times lately where people don't miss a single bullet out of an r-301 or other AR no matter how fast or eratic I move
wanted to chime in on the finals update. Oh god... the 5 v 5 mode is terrrrrible and not casual friendly at all. If the enemy team has any slight teamwork like lets say medium with turrets and the anti-grenade device. There is nothing you can do about it. Also the moving platform is by far the worse part about it since there are a lot of moments where a heavy just simply cannot get onto the platform because of the route its taking. In my opinion that mode is just for a team of 5 vs a team of 5 and should have been just a king of the hill and not a payload tug of war.
Oh! but mannnn the update is sooo much fun! Medium's new ability is incredibly fun! zero grav nade is super fun too and soooo is the teleport nade the light class has :D Good update in terms of new toys to mess around with!

I agree w LVLCAP about the new season. We've all played this 1000 times already. I'm bored after maybe 3hr playtime. I wish this game would die so we can all move on.

I think the new map in battlefield would be more fun with 16v16. It's to crazy for me, but that's the theme of the whole game.

Watch Tarkov the wiggle and you will up the % of cheaters you think are cheating it is rampant and WAY more then 1% at least in tarkov

Battlefield 2042's new map is tough man. Reused assets and it takes so long to come out? And then they put that stupid Scout helicopter in there again? Come on...

i'm sure the majority of the pro apex scene are cheaters. someone found a way to make the cheats visible, during the tournament to oust the cheaters publicly. they didnt magically install the cheats on innocent players PC, they just made it show up on pcs that who were already cheating and had the software installed.
Honestly I feel like some of the stuff you guys say here isn't fully accurate just from not knowing about the hacker stuff. I highly recommend a streamer called pirate software he talks in depth about hacker stuff. His whole career has been cyber security.
I do have to say I like everything else though you guys talked about. Just have to nit pick the start cuz you guys I feel like shouldn't of talked about it with how little it seemed you guys knew about it.

This is one of the reasons why cross play is a terrible idea for console players.

No but maybe its the developers. maybe they are 2 faces. 1 the happy developer trying to deliver you content, and 2 the one making cheats in their game and selling it as another company. We should fight this in court. Its bad money, blood money, call it whatever, in their eyes its another $$$. It might not be all devs, but it is the dev slacking or knowingly doing. and I think the only reason its happened so hardcore this time is because someone... inserted command l... into command box..., the thing is it might not just be the respawn, it could be bungie, it could be another person. we must set guidelines and if someone crosses the line. cut their loss
This cheating epidemic has been ruining a lot of games for me entirely. Genuinely terrible man.

Watch hal interviews pro hacker or whatever and you'll find the clip. He has an hour-long conversation with A cyber security icon... And its at least 10x more educational. More than half of what you're talking about has already been answered and gone through

Iron sights having faster ads should be in all games! Thats the one complaint i have with The Finals. Fcar and MP5 have sights and arent balanced accordingly. They need downsides

Every game that has pc cross play with consoles is always ruined by pc cheaters. I hate this trend, keep consoles with consoles and an option to opt into pc cross play.
Insurgency does this and it works great, other games that force it always have hackers.

I tried Apex once because that's all my friends would play. I uninstalled so quick. Nothing was satisfying. It was the first time I couldn't see the appeal in a game at all. Even Fortnite I could see why you'd wanna play.
In The Finals, use the anti grav on the moving platforms! You can get the cashout in some funny new spots!
I preordered star wars Battlefront collection.. I refunded without playing it because I don't want my view of the game to be tainted. All the bad news was so sad to see
