"why not? it's convincing and genuine!" do you know how many people in the world can say the word "sorry"? how can you know if they viewed their mistake or if they would take action in their wrong doings?
as for my overall opinion in these apology videos, it's true that youtubers can act well to convince people in their apology. but it's also true that we can know if some aren't genuine in their apologies.
so for now in 2023, which yet no lying detecting machines are invented, if you spot any mistakes in apolgies (like cutting the vid, lengthening the vid), then don't believe it; if not, believe it or not, it's your own choice.

These comments have evolved to nothing but stating an obvious part of the video and putting "Sam is the type of guy" before it. No better than "Sam is the type of guy to eat food", or "Sam is the type of guy to live on planet earth". This trend is long overdue its deathbed.

I can tell you watch penguinz0/Charlie lol. The classic RUclips apology ALWAYS has a sigh. It’s the consistency that lets you know “hey I did something wrong, but I’m only sorry I got caught”
I made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement, and I don’t expect to be forgiven. I’m simply here to apologise.
What we came across in the woods that day was obviously unplanned. The reactions you saw on tape were raw; they were unfiltered. None of us knew how to react or how to feel. I should have never posted the video. I should have put the cameras down and stopped recording what we were going through.
There's a lot of things I should have done differently but I didn't. And for that, from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry. I want to apologise to the internet. I want to apologise to anyone who has seen the video. I want to apologise to anyone who has been affected or touched by mental illness, or depression, or suicide. But most importantly I want to apologise to the victim and his family.
For my fans who are defending my actions, please don't. I don’t deserve to be defended. My goal with my content is always to entertain; to push the boundaries, to be all-inclusive. In the world live in, I share almost everything I do. The intent is never to be heartless, cruel, or malicious. Like I said I made a huge mistake. I don’t expect to be forgiven, I’m just here to apologise. I'm ashamed of myself. I’m disappointed in myself. And I promise to be better. I will be better. Thank you.

You hit the nail on the head with saying keemstar could be a psychopath. I mean the majority of these youtubers were, but keemstar stands out to me as someone who feels nothing and only cares about his own success and popularity. I still strongly blame him for pushing Etika over the edge, he's not the sole reason for his suicide but the video he made and posted essentially bullying Etika (who at the time was already fucked up completely) in an interview contributed to his unfortunate death. To this day he showed no shred of guilt and I don't think he even bothered apologising for it.

Btw in regards to the Fine Bros, lately I've come across a lot more issues than I ever would imagine would happen (and I used to watch their shows when I was younger) now it ended up a few kids from the times came out and started saying to people how reactions were only created if Fine Bros were ok with it or they would be pushing these kids in a certain way (not to mention alleged kissing to one of the girls who was underage at the time Lia Marie)

The whole script thing can be the opposite actually. If they don’t have a script, they’ll mess up trying to say something or can’t find the words to say and have to take a moment try again. That’s why a lot of RUclipsrs will have cuts also, not because they’re reading a script.

I'm making an apology video of my own, (but directed at a specific person who has no other social media that I know of, so it's a little bit different.) This is a good video to watch if you want to know what to do and what not to do. It doesn't change how I feel about my own mistake, (which is quite possibly the greatest remorse I have ever felt in my life,) but I think it's important to know how to convey that most effectively.
Another thing I want to point out, specifically about the first apology video you showed us, is that she sounds flat and emotionless, which doesn't make her sound at all sincere. Delivery is everything!
