On this episode of Love 225, we’re talking to one of our favorite local influencers: Jordan Basham also known as @wheretogeaux225. She gives us an update on what she’s been working on, her favorite local food spots, and Louisiana day trips.
Then, we talk to the mother-daughter duo behind Joe’s Bakery, a home bakery making all their delicious treats made-to-order. How they created the business, the patriarch who inspired it, and many of their sweets are on display.
We also talked to the organizers behind FORK Cancer, a local event raising money and awareness in the fight against cancer. Organizer Shawn Zeringue and Katelyn Cockerham with the American Cancer Society join us to talk about this event that puts the fun in fundraiser.
Lastly, R&B singer, Lady Vee joins us for an intimate performance, accompanied by guitarist Jermaine Cesar.
