K let me guide you (may be I'm late) Agartala - kheyer pur- Jiraniya - Champak nagar- now entering to Bormura (it's one the hill in tripura) - Teliamura (where I live)- Chakma ghat - then you enter to another hill called Athara mura - Ambassa- Monu etc and last stop of tripura is "Chorai bari' then you enter Assam......then Meghalaya - then Assam again.... Now if you're entering to mizoram, Mizoram has entryway from Assam as well from Tripura..... because the state border is just three way connectivity....
