Love the Peugeot 403, my uncle had a station wagon back in Uganda around 1969.🦁 My dad used to work on several in his auto shop as well, so as a child the dashboard with column gear change, engine, the badge and the front single leaf spring brings nostalgic memories. The 403, 203, 404,505 were solid cars in body, suspension and engine, made for the tough 1950's, 60's Africa roads and were the backbone of transport.🦓 Just a sugestion, you can increase the engine power by about 8-10% by fitting a modern electric radiator fan. This will also increase fuel efficiency. The points ignition can also be upgraded to electronic, and there are modern fuel injection (single point) systems available. 🗼
Beautiful! I would imagine a restoration of this calibre would soar past the price of a similar new contemporary vehicle. But I would still opt for the classic!
@@cossiri Adding the man-hours spent and the invaluable expertise involved, I think that figure would actually double. I have a sentimental attachment to this model as my father had one in the 60s and it was the first car I ever drove.

x essere perfetta bisogna aggiungere...un cane con là testa ché dondola...un plaid sul sedile posteriore...due bei cuscini fatti ad uncinetto...una porta foto calamitato con là scritta non correre...😅😅😅

19:44 This little black hole in the middle down in the front was for a long time my "Glory Hole". Because I was a poor student and dont own the money for a new battery. So I must use the handcrank more than once, except on the top of a little mountain ;-)

Pour faire réimmatriculer ce modèle de voiture (qui était à l'origine sans clignotants), en Italie la Motorisation Civile n'accepte que ce type de solution pour les clignotants, sinon le véhicule ne pourrait pas être immatriculé et ne pourrait pas circuler sur les routes italiennes. Merci salut

The restoration lasted about 4 years and ended in 2012, and the final cost came to around €25,000
