@@MillieMoments 😂😂 I,m from Basque Country and I love Andalousian music but in this part of Spain the music is very different. Spain has a lot of different music. For example Celtic music in Galician or Basque folk. You wold listen Oskorri or Kepa Junkera. They are groups of Basque folk. Sorry for my english😊.
Please Milie, with love, It wood be good, if before visiting a country, you inform yourself of their custom and culture. The music that accompanies the video , and havent somthing against It, is not part of the culture of the Basque Country. For your information, BCountry is part of Spain in the south, and France in the north, you will know Biarritz (Basque country in France). You talk about Spain as if It were a uniformity, but it is not,; perhaps you wouldnt talk like that about England and Scottalnd for example. Itis practically the same. UK of Great Britain, ok? Spain is UK of Hispania.
@@MillieMoments Millie Millie Millie, you cannot be saying that if you are "based" in Spain. What do you mean by "Spanish music"?! That's a very ignorant thing to assume, which can happen if you're a Brit living in Britain and not caring for other parts of the world. But, Millie, you actually LIVE in Spain. You should've realized by now Spain is a completely different world every 100 miles. Different culture, gastronomy, history, traditions or even languages! Omg, Millie, c'mon
Great Vlog, thanks for sharing Millie; Bilbao looks great, the hostel looks incredible, great place to meet people too. Looking forward to the next one ! 😎
Thanks Patricia! Bilbao is lovely, really enjoyed my time there 😊 I actually think that hostel made my experience... It was the first hostel i'd ever stayed in and I loved it!
I'm supposing the guy used a "false friend" (a mistranslated word) when he said Euskera is dialect. That's wrong because Euskera is not only a language, but the oldest one in Europe. And is also a treasure for being an isolated language with no relationships with any other European (World) language family. Bilbao was founded as "Villa" in 1300 and that means it was a city before. It's the perfect place were mountains and sea come together, practice some water sports, ride a bike in the mountains or the city, stop to have a latte with some typical cake or pastry, try some local dishes, drink a txakoli (a white local wine)and some pintxos, the product and the food are amazing (for all budges), you can wander the Old Town or the riverside watching stunning architecture (from classical to works by Pritzker Price winners), visit museums*, enjoy a summer music festival, go to opera, ballet... * Not only the Guggenheim, The Fine Arts Museums is considered one of the best in Europe.
I agree! It's totally different to everywhere else I have been in Spain! I haven't been to Santander myself but would love to go... Anything in particular you'd recommend doing there? Thanks for watching my vlog 😊
Welcome back 👍 good to see you in orihuela the other week. Mentioned your channel on our live earlier today. Hope you're well. Hope to see you playing soon 😘
You have definitely inspired me. I am thinking of retiring in Spain and I have been combing through the many videos. They were mostly pretty boring however I was fortunate to come across yours and it gave me a better insight as to what to expect when I’m there. From McAllen Texas my name is Luis and I thank you very much for sharing.
Great vid, guess the difficult bit is getting some I’d the shots. Just an idea and maybe quirky if you are not a football fan, 😢when there is a football ground close by, drop in some pictures and a bit of info.
Bilbao looks so lovely and interesting! Loved watching your first day solo travelling, so glad you enjoyed it as much as you did! Definitely inspired me to travel and experience hostels like this, looks amazing! ❤❤
Not need to be afraid any more to travel on your own, you see ;-) Everything worked out fine and you show us lovely and interesting information with beautifull videos. Extremely curious what is coming up on your 2nd day, traveling on your own.
I just moved to Bilbao for work! Any recommendations? Still figuring out what to do here in the weekends, where to go and eat, what to see and... how to approach nordlings as a southling 😅
Awesome! I have 2 vlogs on Bilbao as you have probably seen and both videos have all of my recommendations in 😊 I vlogged everything from my trip so everything I did is all in those videos! I hope you enjoy Bilbao!
No tapas in bilbao only pintxos ..same thing but they hate the comparison .😂😂 .loved bilbao was there for 3 months in barakaldo and portugalete ..wonderful winding roads with tiny bars that end on beaches .. great people who booze even when it's pissing down they stand with an umbrella and a vino tinto in hand 😂 gr8 content ❤
I don't think so, I'd say you'd need to change some money into Euros before you come, or take it out at the ATM when you arrive. Do you have a travel card? 🙂
You used Andalousian music for the video. There is some nice local Basque music which would have fit better ;)
Thanks for the tip! Didn't actually realise there was such thing as Basque music.. I just assumed Spanish music was for all parts of Spain 😄

Bilbao is so underrated, it's amazing there. It is so nice to have a small walkable town but still has everything in it. Santander is amazing as well.

Did you come across local music bar scene in Bilbao?
Unfortunately not, but I didn't really go out looking for it, i'm sure there is some live music somewhere :)
Mom, I'm famous! 😂😂😂❤ I loved the video, although I have to improve my English a lot 😅😅
Hahahaha! Your English is great... There's a reason we spoke more English than Spanish, my Spanish is awful 😂😊

For some reason there fruit trees and bushes and flowers that are illegal to order from Midwest seed producers to California, great to see the color.
Hi there
Hey!
Do they take us dollars ?
I don't think so, I'd say you'd need to change some money into Euros before you come, or take it out at the ATM when you arrive. Do you have a travel card? 🙂
but what class, what accent, what woman. Bilbao in the background suits you very well. The beauty matches.
Funky video…
Thanks!

Next time use Texas music for New Zealand.
