Two Full chapters are denoted in The Gita for details of what is Mind, Body & Soul. What is mind control, how to practise it and what is Karmayoga and its applications in real life.
What is told by Swami Vivekanand in this video is exactly the same as mentioned in The Gita but some points of it explained a bit more. In fact this is the essense of The Gita. Therefore its a most practical living document taking you towards prosperity and happiness. But lot of things from The Gita are missing here in this video.
In that context learned Hindus are very lucky to get exposed to such spiritual literature since a young age. What is said here is not unknown to most hindus. In fact they practise it and therefore are successful in the world and have a certain value system.
When Rishi Sonak says he is a 'practising' hindu and so does any Hindu - it means this knowledge from the video is very basic to them. In fact, they would be practising the advanced things from The Gita in real life. Hence they are where they are.
