Hi Dave, I have been going through and creating the yearly training plan. When I came to the step where you type in the formula for week =weeknum followed by F12, I got a 2 instead of a 1 to coincide the microcycle week. Granted I know you made this in 2017, I was taking the current year 2020 and the first Monday started on the 6th. I don't know why is isn't recognizing it as the first week. Any thoughts on how to fix this situation?
Weeknum(F12,13). Enter this, because the first day of the year is on a wednesday for the year 2020, which will be returned by the number 13. That should resolve the issue I suppose.

I also wanted to tell you that I am a personal trainer and have been trying to learn how to write up a annual planner so that my clients will know what is to come for the year, But the problem is Im still trying to figure out how to fill in your template with the pre-planned workouts, reps, phase, cycles and just about everything else. If you can help me that would be wonderful.

Not sure if this makes sense, but as an example, lets say in the first week column for the competition date I had previously checked that there is a game that week on whatever day. The game gets moved to the next week and I want to cancel out the checked colour and date from the original scheduled game and I would like that column to show nothing for competition dates now. Is there a way to change this as I can't seem to figure out how? Thanks again for posting these tutorials and any help is much appreciated.
I am not sure I quite understand what you are asking. I would say just have this document be fluid and delete the date from the box so that the colors disappear from the schedule if you need the ability to add multiple games in a week you could always make more rows and term them Home game #1, home game #2 etc and follow the same process to have them all highlight up. if you want further help you can email me at dsmtrength@gmail.com I could take a look for you

These videos are incredibly helpful, thanks for doing this. One question, I would like to have both lifts and competitions highlighted throughout the week. Is there a way to have two boxes at the bottom, one for competitions and one for lifts? Just trying to get everything I need on one schedule.
regarding competition highlighting man, when using the scroll macro because the (list options change) when you scroll through it no longer highlights the dates. Example you set the competition dates and then as you go through the week and scroll* all the highlighted ones are off because the corresponding boxes have changed (main question) - how do you get the comp box inputs to rotate(specifically with the date that was initially selected?)
What do you do if you have more than one competition a week like in hockey, baseball, or hockey? You addressed it in the Opponent box, but not the Competition box.
+Jason CSCS hey Jason good question. Lots of options for something like that obviously you will need to Taylor to your needs.. my solution would be to make the opponent box longer so there is more room to type on it. Also add more date boxes to select game days.. traveldays etc

Hi, my question would how to add another competition column with selected dates to the same week above, I tried to do the same thing with a different color but all I get is ### or weird numbers. For example, I want to make the annual plan for the basketball team and they have two games a week how do I set up so I can highlight two dates in one week? Please let me know. Thank you

Hey William it is because the first week of 2020 started on a wednesday, and there will be 53 weeks because of that

Figured it out. Simple delete...sorry for the silly question. As I am still a beginner excel guy sometimes I overthink it for sure.

Yes all you would have to do is repeat the process and change the formulas

In order to achieve this functionality it would require a lot more complicated formulas.

Why is it when input =weeknum(F10) it gives me 2? & when i scroll it goes 52,53?
because the first sunday / monday for 2021 is in the second week of the year since january started on a friday
