@brownie6451 i have my Trims set on a flight modes. My flight modes are attached to my flap switch with separate Trims. So trim the plane 3 times 1 in take off flaps, 1 in landing and 1 in clean. You have full control and can trim the plane without effecting the other modes. Something I picked up when I got into turbines. All my maidens are this way. After 3rd flight it's good to go. 👍👊🇺🇲
@twincitymoo7141 yes indeed it is after you trim all modes it's saved auto in each. I have a video on my ch. Explaining it and how to do it step by step on a spektrum ix12 radio. I use frsky now for the past 2 year but concept is the same. It's a real game changer using FM this way makes the plane track waaaaaaay better and you can always just trim stuff out when needed no guessing how much ele comp u need for flaps
@captainaxle438 gear doors are a bit larger. I guess a way to compensate for the gear. It's not a show stopper, tho. I mean, if this was a 5k composite, I'd definitely have something to say on 5. Thanks for watching! 👍🇺🇲👊
Love the LX models, they just need to be modernized to the 2020s standards. Alot has improved since 2011 when these came out. I have to wonder what would happen if you accidentally hit the wing fold switch in flight :) I bet if you put the motor from the HK Yak 11/Tucano in it, it would have lots of power. Any Corsair that doesnt nose over is great in my book. The FMS is awful for that.
@snoriverrc3842 i agree snow. The 3 warbirds they offer could use an update. While this model did get an updated 80 amp esc. Be great for a faster motor. But in saying that, too much motor would put stress on the wings and cause issues later on. They are what they are. But yes, definitely upgrading the power systems would be amazing. Bring new life to these older designs. Thanks for 👀 👊🇺🇲👍

Nice maiden flight John.I would have liked this plane if I could still fly,my dad was a Corsair mech and plane chief on the F4U-4 Corsair in VMF-222.

It's nice but tell me if I'm wrong. The front gear doors are noticably to big. Maybe by 1/3rd
