CPU deallocates the memory of the ZP cos it has already been completed so it just resides in the PT without occupying any resource but ZP are harmful in a way when there are lots and lots of zombie processes so they fill may fill up the entire PT in this case new process can not be executed cos its corresponding info can not be saved in the PT.
