Finally someone that speaks about the physician’s formula lip gloss! IT IS AMAZING! It fills the lines of your lips and leaves your lips really juicy and glossy. If you get the nude gloss….. UHMAZING
Yes! Love physicians formula in general but this product gets an A+
The Covergirl Yummy Gloss contains an ingredient called Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-t-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, which is a sterically hindered phenolic (phenol) antioxidant; completely safe. This is found in A LOT of lip plumping-type lip glosses out on the market. It's interesting how many don't feel this sensation at all, while so many others intensely do. I don't feel a thing myself, nor does anyone I know. I'm in love with both the Covergirl Yummy Gloss and the new NYX gloss.
^ Dry skin people...the physician's formula concealer surprised me at how hydrating it was and how in sank it so nicely with not clinging too much to dry spots. Having said that i found it to me light coverage but when i put the old becca under eye concealer (which Smashbox makes now) it made the concealer better. I do agree it is finicky... because when my eyes are a bit more dry due to using a retinal eye cream then it can look bad and patchy. SO it just depends on the given day.. still love it.

At almost 70 year old male, with skin discolration with combo/ dehydrated skin I love mixing the combo/ with the dry Colorstay formula!
The Sol bronzer has been a favorite for a few years. So easy to apply and blend, doesn’t disturb foundation underneath and lasts for hours.
I loved the color pop liquid shimmer blush on you! I thought the shade was gorgeous!
I mix the Butter Glow bronzer with my moisturizer and bronze up my face. It works great!

I have super dry skin, and there are very few concealers that I can use under my eyes, but I love the Physicians Formula Butter Glow concealer!

I bought one of the Tarte mascaras during the Ulta 21 sale and then bought this new Maybelline falsies mascara, and I have to say I love the Maybelline one so much better!
Revlon's foundations have always worked for me. I have mature , dry skin and I usually wear sunscreen underneath. Their Super Lustrous Lipsticks are amazing. I just bought a blush and it was so easy to blend! Many blessings!💖💖💖

The buildablility of Revlon Colorstay is the reason I think all foundations are buildable and end up messing up my makeup and making it patchy so many times! I'm excited to try the reformulation
Hey as a brown mascara lover myself I really enjoy the cover girl lash blast one they do make it in brown I’ll admit it can be a little hard to find online but in stores usually no issue I highly recommend that one
I also love brown mascara.I have pale skin and blonde hair so most of the time I feel like the black is to drastic. So I'm about out of my Sky High mascara and I found a brown shade, so I picked it up .Super excited to use it, but the brown Sky High is waterproof unfortunately so i hope it's as good as the orginal!!!
For makeup that has a sponge tip, like the Maybeline Age Rewind, I just remove the sponge and pump it up onto my finger. The sponge goes in the trash. I just don’t like sponge applicators like that.
I do that too! I never understood why people caused such a fuss? Especially since people use the doe foot for spot concealing and that’s not washable?
Those spong tips are way too messy, and gets product in the lid and down the container, I always throw them out. I would rather have a pump or doe foot.
@@rosiedubs6315 Precisely. So absurd. Doesn't bother me in the slightest and I don't find it particularly messy at all (never gets on the container sides). I just keep it clean by not squeezing up too much and by wiping around the neck when/if needed. Also, I'm careful when I put on the cap back on. That's my favourite all-time concealer on my olive skin and I was a makeup artist for many years. (the Neutralizer shade)

I love the Covergirl concealer, it seems to be lightweight but it’s full coverage. I love your eye makeup tip, I’ve been using a cream color eyeshadow on my lids with eye liner and mascara only, and my aging eyes look so much brighter! Thanks for the reviews!

@@bingm8109 I’ve been using the cream color in the Elf Bite Sized quad called Carnival Candy. I’m not sure what Abbey uses, but I think any cream eyeshadow would work. My lids are dark, the lighter color makes my eyes look bigger.

I have the shade glamingo pink in the CG yummy gloss, and it doesn’t have the tingling effect. I love it!
Many don't feel the tingling effect like us, while many others do feel an intense tingling effect. It contains a mild plumping ingredient called Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate that some people are just sensitive to. I also have Glamingo Pink and love it!
I have one too and I don't feel anything. I didn't know it was supposed to be plumping. I hate plumping glosses because I don't like the tingle
The revlon foundation for oily skin is my go to everyday foundation. I’m 43 and it doesn’t do that to me at all and I’m super oily. Very interesting!
There are several other drugstore lip oils I know of! Can't speak to how good each one is, but there are ones by Milani, LA girl, chapstick, Uoma, pacifica, versed, and revolve by revolution. I only know because I searched for an affordable one months ago before the NYX one came out🤪
Essence has a lip oil that is awesome. Super hard to find but it’s the cranberry lip oil, if you find it- buy it! It’s like $4!!!

I've been looking for true, brown, drugstore mascaras as well. I ordered Flower Lash Warrior in fierce brown (a really pretty chocolate brown) and Maybelline Snapscara in bold brown. Been using them together and absolutely love it (I'm super picky with mascaras... but the ones Abbey likes are usually the ones I like as well). This is my first time wearing brown mascara... and I'm wondering what took me so long lol.
ColourPop has a great brown mascara too.
It’s crazy how personal preference work! I only use waterproof máscaras period. All the regular never work for me 😅

The wet & wild pouty lip gloss balm (#11) I use at night. Luv it. Picked it up cuz someone put it in the wrong spot so my OCD kicked in & was going to put it where it belongs but decided to just get it cuz… you know… couple bucks so why not 😎 glad I did cuz I use it every night!!!

Since there is so much makeup products at the drugstore, I simply find an alternative with anything with the sponge tip applicators. I know you can remove the sponge but it gets just as messy too.

I will try the sol bronzer. I am currently using Estee Lauder powder bronzer and it's ok. I feel as I am getting older, powder just doesn't look as good as it used to.

The old Revlon Colourstay also settled in lines I didn't even know I had. I couldn't understand the hype. I use Catrice HD-something foundation because it is affordable and doesn't emphasize the lines too much :D

I just started on tretinoin and my skin is screaaaammingggg in this transition. Any tips for products to add/take away to help during the process of adjusting?
Use aquaphor around the corners of your mouth and nostrils and even under eyes and then apply the tretinoin and add your moisturizer on afterwards. Cut down to 3 x weekly instead of 4-5 x weekly until your skin adjusts, then bump up the frequency of tret use. Hang in there!
Hi Abbey! I am a long time follower and LOVE you and your content! You are one of the few YT creators I still watch. As a WOC, please be a little more mindful in recommending people buy the darker shade of products to use as bronzer that are already limited in shade range, like physicians formula. It is really sad and unfortunate that in 2023 brands are still not super inclusive, especially at the drug store. However, I appreciate that you always recognize this and mention that a brand should extend their shade range.

OMG - Abbey, do you use the non-waterproof version of Lash Paradise?? I got the waterproof one recently and found it just a bit clumpier than I wanted. Now I’m wondering if that’s because I chose the waterproof version!!!

@@anisa-mb5sn interesting! Yeah I’ve been using it for maybe 3 weeks now, almost daily, and I find that some days it clumps more than others. I actually think maybe it clumped for in those first few days and now isn’t clumping much? Hmm I’ll have to test that! Brushing through my lashes works well to declump though, and man I do love that I never, ever have to worry about this smudging!!! It’s definitely grown on me. I like it a lot…I just got to wondering how it compares to the non-waterproof one.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I think the reason that beauty is falling by the wayside is bc back in 2010 RUclips wasn’t so much of a business. Now let me say what you do is work and it should be a business. You should make a living from it. But I think back then the analytics weren’t driving channels as much when RUclips was more of a hobby. I do think you are right about reaching a certain age and just figuring out your look. But man I miss old RUclips. I sometimes go back to old videos of people just doing a good ole spur of the moment drugstore haul on their floor! I think I’ve watched all of yours like that. 😊
What's the difference between a doe foot sponge and a puff sponge such as that on the maybelline concealer? You could potentially wash the puff sponge, but the doe foot sponge touches your face then gets put back in the tube taking any contaminants with it. Please le
