WANPOETRY is a community-oriented collective of poets that meet at AvantGarden in Houston, Texas every Wednesday at 7:30 PM with the purpose of providing a multimedia platform for poets to share their work.
Literally holding back tears, I used to feel like this about my dad! Amd when I sat down and told him how I felt and how angry I was that he missed 10 years of my life, he apologized, held me like a little girl and let me cry in his arms. I thank God that it started the process of healing my heart and our relationship. This poem is the truth! Love it!

I see.. well I had a sometimes father as well.. however I became a full-time father 24/7 for 17 years.. sacrifice go without so she can get what she need.. either good poem.. get counseling and take it easy on the rest of us fathers
