Dam it's crazy at just how much these cars move around at the speeds they are runnin I come from late model asphalt racein and I thought them these moved round as the tires wore but these cars do it with new and used tires and it looks fun as hell
It was a consistent yr at Bridgeport. Gonna have to try different combinations for next yr to be the man to beat there. Hopefully Billy will get a couple big wins this fall!
Mandee you’re a great cooler I tell you that’s why your brothers got you in the corner well I’m just gonna let you know because your family and sometimes that actually helps but I want you to know too it’s about you guys being strong even though crashers do happen even in the eats and in the features they do happen and you guys get better and better each time you get you get stronger and stronger and that’s what matters people may not know that all the time but you guys as a family you work hard you playPlay hard and then it makes it easier for you to go forward from there so keep your head held high through the thick and thin of dirt racing just keep your mind on happy things and think it’ll go right into place and maybe when you know

He was flying on the top and when you load an engine that hard at high RPM at the end of a season that is when bad luck rears it's ugly head. If it's going to happen you want it to be when you lift after crossing under the checkers, not 2 laps shy. Runner up is FAR better than never to have raced at all! Lot's to be proud of! Mandee, I sure hope 1/8' tempered will hold up to those rocks if you know what I mean.
What is a track championship worth out east in a modified? I know it is an honor, but does it financially help? Extra big trophy at the awards banquet?
These are the situations on a final point night have someone qualify a second car. If something happens to the primary car he can jump into the second car. Totally legal according to the rules.
That would work if it happened in the heats...Not in feature as he only had 2 laps to go...if i remember correctly the driver is qualified not the car ..they stopped that in the late 60s...

I dont know if learning why an engine failed is going to make any difference. hey dont build their own engines and engine failure is part of racing.
