      @stevenherschkowitz2591 2 года назад +1

      Very true. I play tennis and stumbled upon the HOF when visiting Newport with my wife. The entrance is so nondescript, that you could easily miss it. It is almost like walking into the entrance of the Wonka factory. This tiny entrance leads to this massive property. You can even reserve to play there on a grass court. Another country‘s team was practicing for the Davis Cup when I visited. The staff was also incredibly friendly! It was a very nice, surprising experience!

    Her 'rookie' card is from the Top Trumps Smash Hits 2 set, which was released in 2003 and is the same set and design as what your Eminem is from.
    Also, the Britney Spears card you have is from Tops Trumps Smash Hits 1 which was released in 2001, not 2003.

    The 60T Yaz rookie has been hot lately. I've got a few mid-grade, graded by both SGC and PSA and the 4's and 5's have recently broken the $200 level. Remember buying them ten or more years ago for less than $100. A similar vintage card gathering steam is the 58T Mantle All-Star card.

    I've been searching for a Dolly Parton minor league card from 1959. It's a rare regional issue ('Gold Band') from Louisiana. It was issued in honor of her first single, "Puppy Love", released at the age of 13. Dolly is certainly the GOAT. (Suffice it to say, there was no such card, but there was a single released regionally and it's a four-figure disk, if you can find it).

    Always fun to see your thought process when it goes into the cards you're getting created. Question. Why do you think SGC on those smaller entertainment cards are not putting them in the same kind of holders as t206? They look so much better without the clear "normal sized" with the black casing going all the way around the card. I guess my point is SGC should have black border come all the way around the card regardless of size, I'm sure it's a cost versus quantity issue. SGC closing the gap in vintage no doubt.

    @Baseball Card Collector Investor Dealer Hey Chris maybe you can help me with this question. I have some 3-D Sportflix and 3-D Kelloggs cards from the 70's. I want to know if I can get them graded and because the cards tend to bow in on the sides would they crack if put in a slab? A few have cracked already from being sleeved. I have some Nolan Ryan's that are still in great condition I'd like to have graded as he is my main collecting focus. I love your channel, THANKS!

    • @collectorinvestordealer
      @collectorinvestordealer  2 года назад

    • @C.Baumann
      @C.Baumann 2 года назад

      If you do grade them, pick out what you think are the best two or three, and try subbing those. I'd be leary of sending in a lot in the event that they all come back with low grades. Those are tough cards to figure out. I thought I had a mint 70's Unitas and it came back a 4 or a 5. I barely broke even on it.

Easy leaf can say it impacted the sale of a 100k hobby boxes they can just throw a huge number out and say the relied on that player to generate sales. And the player was going to get paid a couple k maybe to sign some cards. I think after hearing this it would be unwise to sign for card companies. And this is all the greed that’s why this happened.
