I really enjoyed it but it was always a big ask to whittle a 10 part story down to the length it was last night Colourisation was amazing, I think they done a good job at the end.
I agree with you. He was never the Master in my opinion, but the New Who youngsters are now accepting The War Games in Colour as canon. It was only supposed to be a Christmas bonus. Maybe it's us, maybe it's something else, but somehow, something has gone very wrong with Time.🤔⏱️🕰️⏰⌚️
Just a Christmas bonus Special. It was wonderful seeing the Second Doctor in colour. It was beautifully done. The regeneration was interesting but unnecessary for the story. The shots of the Tardis were nice. I even liked those Gimp men’s guns in full Technicolor.😂😂 Will you be watching Joy To The World? I’ve not seen it yet. I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas.🎄☃️🦃🎅
@ 🤣 gimp men’s 😂 ,yeah had a good day,my wife bought me the Lego jaws set had no idea she was getting me that,as for the new Christmas episode I’ve recorded it,I’ll give it a go but I’m a classic who fan myself. Prefer the old format cliff hanger at the end of the episode.
I thought the regeneration scene was pretty good and seeing Jon Pertwee in an actual post-regeneration scene was also a very good moment, overall I really enjoyed it 🙂👍🏻
Oh dear, I thought it was even worse than The Daleks, butchered to death,....horrible, stuttering , jarring and disjointed to watch, I'm deaf from the constant incidental music,😖 ...and more retconning characters..The Master indeed.🙄..shoehorning the modern Doctors into the forced regeneration scene... Pretty sick of RTD thinking he can do what he likes with Classic Who, leaving his dabs on everthing, making it as garbage as his "product." Honestly, they can't cancel Doctor Who fast enough for me to rid the franchise of RTD and his retconning ways. Will never watch this again. ...Anyway...Merry Christmas , hope you and your family have a wonderful time. 🎄🎅
On the plus side, forcing the Doctor to see his future incarnations and the Doctor's reactions suggests the Doctor really hates his future. It's a really bizarre change since that couldn't have been the intended mindset.
Why do a bulk of the modern audience think this nonsense is now canon? Surely they can't seriously think so, considering its cut down from 10 episodes down to a mere 90 minutes with idiotic retcon changes shoehorned in under from the perspective of one person? Sorry its just has to viewed to be a bit of fluff. It was rushed and nonsensical, cutting out a lot of the plot, character development, overlapping scenes and dialogue, with a bunch of retconned stuff thrown in - the second half was a mess. Plus why would you show pictures of the faces of future incarnations and why is it all Nu-Who Doctors, especially as when one of the sketches in the original version looks very much like the 5th doctor, it's just nonsense. People didn't take the truncated Daleks in Colour as canon, so why should they take this canon, especially with the War Chief, just because he was a Timelord with a beard and he was doing bad stuff, why does that automacally makes him the Master, just nonsense. This is just a truncated version of a much better story for the ADHD generation, nothing more. The colourisation was impressive though.

Would’ve felt less rushed had they done a 100-120 min edit, those extra mins would’ve just let it breath a bit more but otherwise I enjoyed it.
There was never any mystery about the War Chief.

Why couldn't they just colourise the episodes?
It would cost more. I agree that just coloring all the episodes without the needless cutting and excessive music would probably net more buyers
Timothy Claypole.
😂👍Merry Christmas.🎄🎅☃️
I enjoyed it for what it was yes it was crammed, always thought the war games was drawn out anyway! Just nice to see Troughton in colour

RTD is entertained by his own farts as well.. is anyone surprised that this was bad?.

100% agree.

@@Paul_1971 I reckon this was done to p off the genuine fans that don't accept their sh*t show of a series.
I lasted for about a minute, then turned it off...
Not in keeping with tone!
