Got my first turtle box cool speaker, no issues put it against my jbl boombox 3 jbl blew it out the water!!!!! Still a cool outdoor speaker loud and durable for many outdoor activities
It’s like a truck vs a sports car. A sports car might sounds better, look better, and be cooler. But are you gonna take your sports car into the woods or throw it into the lake? Will it withstand heavy hard drops? Is it crush proof? No it’s not. They are both cool product but they serve different purposes
@@evanlawrence9476it’s actually nothing like your comparison. The JBL is just as durable if not more. Had it in the river just floating every week straight up in the water. Still works like the day I got it
Ue megaboom or megablast, can connect up to 150 speakers together, water resistant, I have 4 megaboom 3's worth every penny, put em in my backpack or have them hanging with the carabiner and just start jamming anywhere.
My husband is two time war veteran . We are currently living abroad but still have our Miami mailing address. We have tried to order it 3 times and have it delivered to Miami but they keep canceling our order due to who knows what. . They have no customer service to call and it takes them forever to answer your emails so not worth it 😢
That $400 won’t be in your grave so spend it on somthing that you enjoy and move on in life money always comes back in the long run so don’t spend year and years not enjoying the money you earn. Anything that brings you joy or happiness is worth $400 it just depends on who you are
@@Puddbeateryeah I owned an extreme 3 a couple years ago before it got stolen. Been shopping around atain and I can't seem to bring myself to buy anything else. JBL really kills it with their Bluetooth line.
🐢📦🪨❗️ Never have experienced a better sounding (loud & clear w crisp powerful bass) portable waterproof speaker. Not saying it doesn’t exist… but as someone who owned two PAIR on Gen 1s and two pair of Gen 2s… I speak from experience. Each time I go to purchase additional speakers I get excited about checking out all the other new models on the scene…. Some of The Others ARE really good… but the ability to play LOUD & CLEAR sans distortion and no ‘boomy’ bass… in the rain…. Nothing has surpassed my Gen 1 turtles… and the Gen 2 ARE better! And this goes for various environments! 1G1 Pair attached to Hobie Island Adventure kayak 1G1 Pair in mechanical shop 1G2 Pair stay in old ‘55 pickup truck as a solid sound Sys for that loud 390FE! And finally, 1G2 Pair move around inside and out on a 45’ yacht. 🐢📦🪨❗️ (Turtle Boxes ROCK!) 😎
I have one and so does a buddy. They are good on their own. But when you pair them together, it’s insane

I also have the JBL boom box. I was wondering if the turtle compared
Good to know!
Turtlebox is more durable

I wanna see a video on a few chained together. Are they pair able through blue tooth or by wire?
They pair by Bluetooth I’m told. If I get a second one I’ll do a video
Bluetooth
It’s Bluetooth and two are amazing. Super loud
Been trying to decide between getting a speaker and wiring a system into my pontoon boat and this might have convinced me
Does it charge usb c now ?
I have two boxes and I can’t get them to sync.
Emailed Turtlebox and no response.
Not happy. Will be returning for a more friendly product.
Hmmmmm that’s odd. Makes me rethink getting a second one

The only thing missing, like so many speakers, is it's missing the audio out port.

I’m curious as to what your husband being a war vet has to do with this? lol
@@themando2700He’s a two time war veteran can’t you see!🤣
Looked real nervous about getting it wet lol
😂😂
can you pair to a JBL speaker or just only other turtleboxes? lol
A little more and I just think the Soundboks Go is the better option.
Dude. Let’s hear the box!
Not worth 400 bucks unless it's something you absolutely need
I’ve spent more in speakers and a head unit for previous boats and the turtlebox is by far a better option for me at $400.
You can't hide money

The lifetime warranty more than makes it worth it...
@@papermaker6941 there is no lifetime warranty on turtlebox lol. You get one year after purchase.
They should have a USB flash drive I have a music stick don't want my phone tied up for hours I would buy one today if it has that on it
Does it have a little bass?
It does have good bass
Charged it once in 6 months..
Not worth the money I've found a better speaker with better specs with ip68 rating the sound is better the overall all package is better for the price
What’s the better speaker?
No seriously 😂😂
What is the better speaker 🔊? That's what I thought
@@Bythewater just a guess but imma say it’s probably a JBL extreme 3

Overpriced POS that sounds terrible.
Should of thrown it in the water see if it floats
It floats.
