I did not expect laughters and playing with mobiles in a church, especially in Germany! A bit of a disappointment...apart from that, Hammeschmidt deserves such a great performance! Well done.
Germany is mostly secular, besides that - those boys are kids. Of course they are using phone and joking around when not rehearsing. And why shouldn't one laugh inside a church?
Lea Fraenzle It was a kind of a joke: I love Schutz, and other German baroque composers, and made a funny statement on the funny pics of choir kids taking it easy. Btw, in Greece we are exactly as you described it: an Italian friend of mine found us too casual inside the church; in Italy there is a strict order. I am happy that the Germans are like us. PS Being “secular” is already a postmodern declaration. Europeans are again thirsty for Christianity. And they know that the other path leads to a disaster...
Großartige Klänge, lieber Jörg, und vielen Dank für diese grandiose Version!
Ein wunderschönes Gotteslob!
Ja, der König der Ehren will einziehen in unser Herz!
Sind wir bereit?
Wunderbare Aufnahme!
