Good morning. Been watching you on and off for many years now and have now watched this renko trading system. I'm seeing a problem with trading view renko on my training view. It changes direction goes up three candles closes and instead of turning around and switching to red the Blue candles that are going up are just disappearing on the way down. Is there a way to fix this ???

Hey Emanuel! Great question. You can use the ATR based Renko (7 period) as suggested around 7:10 in the video alongside a time-based chart to keep you onside when the market is trending! Cheers -Mark

does box size mean number of points..e.g 100 points for brick size meaning each brick is 10pips?
Hello Female DJ Frizzie, the brick size is tick based, so 100 points is 100 pips each. Every asset has it's own tick value, or the minimal increment of movement. Hope this helps. Have a great day - George.
Hey man I need some help I'm new to Renko charts, What are the projection bars, and what do they mean/purpose???
That's when they haven't officially been formed in the time frame selected. It's moving up and down and it closes past the amount you set it will create another block.
Excellent video. I have been using Renko to block out the noise as I can get skittish once I get around 20% profit and they help me steady my nerves. Of course, once I get the directional change I switch to Heiken-Ashi (or as I prefer, Heineken-Ashy) for precision. I'm kinda mean, though - I never tell other traders about the Renko when asked why I'm so accurate 😏. Thanks for blowing it, bro lol.

These are not classical renko bars - they are pretty bizaar in fact if you want to learn about renko don't use tradingview its not properly programmed and they refuse to change it.
If your using renko for currencies, then you need to to move your decimal over to the hundredths or thousands to see them come up.
What the difference between classic Renko bars and TradingView. I would like to understand better your point

You can't trade renko on a live market, boxes print and unprint an the time
Hey Ankita, the renko is not for trading off of, you are right. It is mean to look at the trend and more importantly, to keep you out when there is a lack of trend. Why does it changes with the change in time frame? Once we set the traditional bar to let's say $1, no matter what time frame we select it should show the same bars.

My standard settings seem to be on ATR 14, I thinks its a very good trading bias tool. I had renko on ATR 14 with the EMA 8. Long when bar above ema 8, short below ema 8. Seems to be working pretty good bro. Great video btw.

That was an honest mistake, I mentioned it somewhere in the comments below. Check it on your favorite asset though and you'll notice the characteristics described. Obviously, on your screen, do it on the same asset lol. Thanks for commenting and watching. - George
