Yes,indeed! Simon is really the greatest frontman ever(and good-looking too!)! It's not only his voice, but his attitude and soft talking,he's got a strong magnetism...But all the others Duranies are great, too! They all had a charisma, they were unique!! They were and still are all special! Thanks for posting this interview! Kisses from Romania!! (Alice)

Yeah, me too. I also liked the way he handled that bass....mmmm!!! Now that I'm not 9 years old, I see it in a more perverse way.

See that's what makes Simon so amazing! Because his theatre background, Simon knows exactly how to engage with the public and make everything that Duran does look awesome!! But John still has my heart!!!!❤😍

Agreed Alice. People think that it's the instrumentalists that made this band but in my eyes a lead vocalist is what makes all the difference in a band that's just okay and a band that's absolutely fabulous like Duran Duran!!

they were a unit Duran Duran would not have worked without each of them although they seem to be fine without Andy Taylor but thats about it

If you ever have a chance to talk to him in person, he has a way of making you feel like you're the only person in the room and is hanging on your every word....it's quite memorizing.

These guys accomplished something unique, today's musicians are a joke, a parody of the charlatanry.

I remember this first time around in the early eighties my goodness where has all those years went... There still going in 2021. Simon was my idiol thought he was the most handsomest man on earth there all extremely goodlooking and very talented. I knew back then they where more than pretty boys proved those sceptics all wrong. Can't wait to see them next year in Dublin unfortunately there concert at St Anne's in Dublin has been cancelled due to this dreadful pandamic everyone keep safe love from a life long fan from N.lreland ❤

I don't consider what is coming out now as "music." More like "garbage." The "artists" can't sing without AutoTune, most of the "musicians" can't play their instruments worth a damn, and most of the female "artists" need to put their fucking clothes back on. I'm no prude, but DAMN! You don't have to be practically naked to be sexy. Leave something to the imagination. And the constant f-bombs. No wonder kids are screwed up these days. My youngest nephew WAS into "gangsta rap" until I introduced him to REAL music. I will admit that I'm a Notorious B.I.G. fan (may he rest in peace) and I like Snoop Dogg, Hell I even listened to N.W.A. back in the day, but most of it is overly-violent crap. Give me DD ANY DAY OF THE WEEK over today's junk. In fact, give me ANY 80's music. It still sounds great even 40 years later.

Maybe his voice was about to give out. The man used to belt out his larynx in every performance.
