Thanks for the report. Good range. I just wish the test would have been 100% in real world, meaning no calculations or estimates. Hopefully these kind of range tests could all be started with 100% full battery..
I don't think the few % are making the result so inaccurate. I have seen that with the many other cars I tested. Only the Nissan leaf was the only one with a real non linear SOC drop. All the others go down in a normal expected way.
Well some countries 90km/h is highway speed with perhaps a max of 100-110km/h in most countries. It's available finally in Australia but over my price budget really waiting for new facelift Niro EV 2023 model and road tests/etc to start including full interior/towing/exterior reviews.
@@BatteryLife or to put it more reasonable, based on your experience with c40 and tesla mod y, would you expect the tesla to be significantly more efficient in a similar conditions? Trying to choose between the two. I line xc40/c40 better, except for a nagging thought that model y would have much better real world range (about which i start to doubt more and more)
@@BatteryLife thanks will look into it. Seemed that i found only 130 test, but will look more carefully for 90 test as well. Thanks! Much appreciated! :)
@@BatteryLife it also probably doesn’t “still have” all season tires, that is actually what is standard. Ours has MIchelin CrossClimate 2 instead of typical summer tires.
Moin Chris!

Europe and Germany in particular have been to slow to transition to wind and solar energy and all electric vehicles. Wind and solar energy do not need to be imported and can be produced locally in any country. Europe needs to provide incentives for homes and businesses to install electric heat pumps and get rid of old polluting gas and oil boilers. The move to electric vehicles will also be sped up. There is no good reason to help fund Putin's war by buying oil, gas and coal from Russia.
Need to expand content beyond electric vehicles. How about more on Ebikes, Escooters, solar panels, battery storage and home energy efficiency options.
Love it when WLTP is actually achievable. My Kona Electric matches or exceeds it in summer. I'm impressed that the C40 can also do it.
An amazing looking car! Thank`s for your work!
I really like the way you edit your videos. This drive with the C40 is a great example of that 👍 And the music is great - as always 😊 BR, Per (DK)
nice colour, is that the silver dawn? i love the warm tint it has in the sun.

8:30 That is a great GnR track
I thought that was the navigation destination.
How can you complain about the seat heater when you have it on the lowerst setting, when there is 3 settings.
Because I used it in the morning on another ride on full! 😉
Thanks for the test. Do you have comparative 90kmh range test for Tesla mod y which i consider the main competitor?
Yes. It the ModelY playlist

Why is your calculated battery capacity so high since Bjørn Nyland only got 75.8 kWh (and corresponding lower range potential)?
I calculate with the avg consumption and the range from 100-0%. Not very accurate.
I would be interested in what Cindy thinks about the C40 🙂
Btw, this car has 19 inch wheels, not 21 as you said
Car is already gone. She didn't feel like doing a video. You are right with the tires. It is correct in the chart.

Yes, I misspoke. But it is correct in the end
Still not sold on electric !!
That is ok.
