Redlined it on gravel back roads until the distributor cap cracked and the rotor melted and warped. It still kept going and took me home. Smashed er up drifting into telephone poles and light posts. Over heated the diff to the point the cover warped and leaked all the fluid out. Ran it dry for an hour and half on the highway getting back home. Runs on burnt oil at the minimum level because i dont have enough to change it. I swear an OBS never dies. Dont worry Ill restore you one day... You deserve it.

I grew up a third-generation farmer back in Ohio I've been living in San Diego since the military brought me here in 1994 but didn't make a new old trucks my buddies and play the hell out of that song
I love you guys for making this song. It reminds me of my old Chevy that just got backed in to and I had to claim as a total loss. 😭😔 I got another lease but I miss it. It got me through some bad times and saved my life in the winter a few years back. Yes my new cars better but the memories I had with it. I also miss my old truck because of this song. Brings back memories.
@@spencersteva3786 when I was about 9 or 10 I had saved up 300 dollars and bought an old 71 F150 for our farm in Florida that was a Hurricane Andrew survivor in Homestead Florida the thing was rusted to basically nothing and only half of the V8 fired so it barely ran but it did and I'd never trade it for anything people don't understand what its like owning an old truck no matter how bad it is I still miss that old thing im only 23 now... damn

I got a 06’ GMC Sierra. Named her Locally Hated. My timing sensor went out and I haven’t gotten the time to fix it yet so when she’s on a cold start she’ll stall a lot but sometimes I got to give her the throttle sometimes. And my girlfriends parents don’t like me bc they don’t like the fact that I’m country to the core till the day I die. And bc they don’t think I’m good enough. They screamed at me and called me locally hated so now she’s got her name locally hated. Even with the problem I’m having I still won’t ever sell it, trade it in, it hasn’t ever crossed my mind.
The only thing I wish the gm company realize that older trucks are much better than these newer ones because they're actually made out of steel that never breaks then plastic

Man this song is awesome. I now drive a 16 Chevy Silverado 3500. I paid $65000 and have had to put $20000 into it. Replacing the transmission at 70k miles gear box all kinds of stuff. I miss my old trucks I had a 92’ f250 with 500k miles on it, an old 5.0 5 speed. Never had any problems. New trucks are made in China and assembled here and are complete junk, and missing the character.
While I loved my old 88 Bronco - this tune does not enlighten me to play it in my truck, terrible list-songwriting, idiotic '90s wanna-be rock guitars - waste of time! (1/5)

Is the songwriting adequate - here in this case it's not: it's a a "to-do"- list, with no remarkable lines and name droppings, with no word play. Musically it doesn't feature the twangy pickin' style that country is famous for, but wanna-be rock guitars of a late '80s hair band, not even comparable to the more "rock-oriented" neo-traditional style of the '90s. Trap drums - aargh. As I wrote above - YMMV
