4:01 had me wheezing.
I caught that reference so quickly, but at the same time it caught me off guard.
That was the best reference I've seen to the past of VeggieTales yet!

I actually have a theory as to why he left for 3 years: If you remember the last piece of Canon Larry Boy lore was TCAOLB (The cartoon adventures of Larry Boy) in the episode "The good,the bad, and the eggly" in which he befriended a neighboring super hero named the Dark Crow. I believe that Larry Boy reflected on the Events of the Fib from outer space and the Rumor weed(Because ya know he did NOTHING in the first one and actually CREATED the threat in the second) decided to take a step back from being Bumblyburgs defender asking the Dark Crow to keep a eye on it in his absence but after a while nothing really happened that police couldn't handle so the Dark Crow wasn't present much. Why Larry Boy came back for the Chocolate theives is a mystery but you can actually see his character development in this installment because he ACTUALLY DOES THINGS. So in a lot of ways I consider this to be Larry boys redemption film.... THEN LEAGUE OF INCREDIBLE VEGETABLES RUINED IT LMAO
Yeah, but the Larry-Boy animated adventures series is non-canon to the regular Larry-Boy episodes, animated adventures Larry-Boy is it's own Universe, like VeggieTales In The House/City

I did that because she's a clever villain, and Archie plays Alfred, being as faithful as he is.
Three sins for this episode:
1. We never see Jean Claude be untied like we did Jerry. Does this mean they left him there.
2. Speaking of Jerry, nobody bothers to untie him until Larryboy and the other two get freed.
3. And we never see the Bad Apple again, despite we never resolve the sequel hook showing she survived, not even in the Veggietales Show.

The Bad Apple’s methods are confusing. Larryboy, Alfred, and Blueberry all get scenarios where they are pretty much comfortable and in no danger. But she puts Petunia, who’s arguably the least important of the them, in a situation where she could die.

4:01-4:18 ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!!
You should have included that the kid who sends the text message complimented Larryboy for fighting fibs and rumor weeds...even though it was Junior who stopped them both. Larryboy was either incapacitated or just as in peril in both situations!
Furthermore, on another topic with Petunia Rhubarb:
Petunia's Handipod has to be the most pointless gaming console ever made. The control stick is sticking out too far to be comfortable in a pocket (contrast with the 3DS's Circle Pad), there are only two buttons on the front, neither of which seem to fulfill the purpose of saving a game (unless you count the big, yellow thing on the top, but that is not a convenient location for a pause button whatsoever), the screen is incredibly dark, the shape of the console does just as many favors to the person putting it in a pocket as the control stick, and it appears that Bumblyburg joins the cast of fictional universes where the only sound quality available are 8-bit beeps and boops.
Additionally, "Handipod Advanced"? the Nintendo DS had been out for about two years prior this episode's creation, thus meaning the Gameboy Advanced you are referencing had been obsolete for quite some time now.
Finally, way to include video games as one of the major temptations when you're trying to sell the video game adaptation. _Including one on the Gameboy Advanced._

Also, I got another sin for this episode. When you see the part where Alfred is stuck in the chair with webs and sees the worm on TV advertising the fun house, it almost looks like the camera filming where you can both the worm on the TV and the fun house is invisible and about 50 feet above the ground which nobody is filming and a camera that is impossible to film from that angle
One more sin I can think of is when the webs were tying up the bad Apple, half her legs were still loose while the other half were being tied up.
That ending 🤣
I've got another sin: Larry-Boy tells the kids, when their chocolate is returned, "With great chocolate... comes great responsibility. How are they supposed to safeguard their chocolate, the bandits that stole it were on a motorcycle!
Also, we do get to see the Larry Cave in League of Incredible Vegetables.
