Big agree with the guy who sent y’all that message at the beginning, I’m a relatively new fan to your page but i love it. The long breakdowns without rushing through fights is great, both of you guys provide insight and historical depth that I as a COVID era fan find fascinating. Y’all are both great speakers and when Keith starts nerding out over wrestling It feels authentic and as a non wrestler it makes me wish I wrestled growing up. Thanks guys, you both make mma a lot more fun
[ben] Thank you so much! As I said in a direct reply to the person who left that message: we do this because we enjoy the sport and we get paid for it, but what really makes it worth it is when our work makes MMA enjoyable, or easier to enjoy, for other people.
Benoit St.Denis looks so much like Oscar the Grouch it's unnerving. I do agree that he will likely beat Moicano, but I'm sort of hoping Moicano pulls off the upset so we can get him vs Paddy as a headliner in Liverpool. I'm not convinced they would do St.Denis vs Paddy, especially not in Paddy's backyard. Story time with Portia though, when I was in my teens at school I played football (which is what third world countries call "soccer" lol) and I got into more fights playing that than in anything else, it was like an ice hockey game when we played rival schools. I know I said it last time but I echo the comments of the guy on the forum, gotta give you guys your flowers for it.
To me, Benoit St Denis is about the current UFC "Must Watch" fighter. Justin Gaethje's long-lost French cousin .... The 'God of War' is The New Black. Excitement guaranteed.
Ah, Da Woon Jung. The latest in the long line of Korean fighters that seem like they should be good but aren't. Why can't any of them ever pleasantly surprise me.
I will be watching this in the background as I lift some weights for the next hour or so. I did my own individual breakdowns of the fights if anyone is interested; I am relatively new to MMA YT. :D (Oki being referred to as 'a Belgian' made me laugh out loud; 'Zulu warriors' are not Belgian.)
Regarding Oki: Hey, I try to go with where they actually have themselves announced as hailing from, not what their nickname implies. It's a tradition harking back at least as far as Maine's Marcus "The Irish Hand Grenade" Davis and Iowa's Tim "The Maine-iac" Sylvia.
I share the same sentiment as the individual whose comments you read in the intro. Appreciate the breakdowns and analysis!

Good show boys. Been tuning in more often lately. Good balance of facts, analysis and banter. One of the better breakdown shows out there.
Thank you! That's what we aim for.
i like the graphics yall put together! and the breakdowns. giving me lots to listen to here. lets make this cash fellas!
Thank you and good luck!
Police detective by day global mma matchmaking mastermind by night… the great Keith Shillan
Keith called him Joanderson Burrito again! If you turn on closed captions it shows "burritos". :)
Clark being able to wrestle Jung with ease. Ulberg being able to sub Jung is concerning. Excited to see when Sy gets ahold of him!
Yeah, Jung being the guy who introduced us all to "ADCC Ulberg" and "D1 Clark" does not bode well for his fight against Sy.

Good stuff🎉 volume os better
Lucky guess I think the guy you were referring to is Zalal
Yes that's the guy I was thinking of as well but I also forgot his name. Zalal looked great on his UFC return

The Gaethje comparison is great, and I had never thought of that before.

Perez is the bigger, stroger woman in this match up. Darya has the height and slight reach
You were dead on, sir.
Bonjour, i'm doing très bien 😅
steak > lobster
One meal every day for the rest of my life: steak. One last meal because I'm on death row: lobster.
