I've been following this band from 1989 you know that ppl. That's when they first came on the roots rock reggae scene with a way different vybz than Bob Marleys Music. Yes dem sound like we Jamaicans and yes we are in the same struggle same language its called the universal language from Guyana 🇬🇾 to 🇹🇹 Trinny and Tobago 🇹🇹 to 🇧🇸 Bahamas to the US Virgin Islands 🇻🇮 to St.Croix to Saint 🇰🇳 all over our carribian Islands and Jamaica 🇯🇲 as well we are all one family you got that!!! Nothing nah stop we. Nobody can't stop we music either. The World Sound and Power.
Anyone notice how talented Ron Benjamin is? He started off playing the keyboards years ago then switched to Bass Guitar.... Bass Guitar the backbone of a Reggae Band and he is solid.....
These guys are certainly one of the most talented reggae groups touring, at least here in northern california. We'll be blessed by them next month again, and again in May! If you get a chance, you really ought to go see them.
This a real tough beat wit a heavy bass line from Ron Benjamin. Vaughn jus a cool presence. Midnite the 2nd best reggae band in these times wit Bob and the Wailers number #1
Some solo so low I can't hear what they say!! The rhythm of nature is always to be heard no matter how soft a heart may be. Respect to the timeless - that is ALL Jah
@rock3125 i'm a renegade. but everywhere is different. i've taped Midnite so many times, standing right in front, sometimes with no one around me for three hours, that i felt i had to introduce myself. So i came early to a Dezarie show and caught Ron and the band arriving. gave him copies of all of their shows i've taped, and he was very cool with me taping, given the proper respect for the band and the music. The only time i've been asked to stop at the Mystic was Alborosie's thugs, never venue
