jizzwizard 46 I started using a soldering iron but I keep burning the lighter colored filament
That's normal. I color them with paint afterwards to get rid of that. Also, it's such a tedious work but it makes the models look so much nicer.
Your work is very beautiful and wonderful. I hope that you will make the houses of spongebob & patrick & squidward characters for being their fans with appreciation.

Man about ten twelve years ago, there were spongebob toys in kids meals and I SWEAR these are a thousand times better.
I don't even watch Spongebob, but you could do this with every single item and character that's ever been on the show and I'd watch every time. Brilliant work!

It’s not the same when it’s smooth I think it has more personality with all the imperfections but other than that you put a lot of work into this and I love it

I really like the perfection in small details especially the tentacles, that knife tip must be really helpful compared to other tips.
Btw, how do handle regular lighter without burning the sculpture ?
It turns black within 2 seconds if i get it closer to the plastic, but its not the same with jet lighter.

I like to suggest you to explore the use of Ultra sonic cutter tool it will be very handy as it generate heat and you can use it for polishing and cutting.... if you are not already using.....
