Sorry our sun burned you but yes I got sun burned on the beach in Barbados after falling asleep on the beach. It was so painful. Then I got sunstroke in Austria skiing in the mountains, would not wish that on anyone. Dizziness, nausea, headache for a couple of days. That was when I realized my dark skin did not make me infallible. The sun has no loyalty.
The Bajan sun tricked me...lol. It was so nice and hazy that it intoxicated me and made me fall asleep...lol. Listen, I learned my lesson after that. The second I feel too comfy on the beach, I need to go back to the hotel...lol.

Yes, we can get sunburned and I did when I had a convertible and lived in ScCal I didn’t know what it was. My skin was hurting so bad all over, but the sun burned me through my clothes and it wasn’t even that hot that day.

My skin never burns, I just get darker. My little brother (same parents) can burn though.

I've seen those UV dots on a few derm channels though not all of them seem convinced about them. I guess they can't hurt to use though.
