I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with Melissa Terri Swayne for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.
Appreciate this recommendation, hopefully I can get some insight to where the market is headed and strategies to beat the downtrend with when I hear back from Melissa.

Learn not to sell in a panic when everything goes down and not to buy in euphoria when everything goes up. I advise y'all to forget predictions and start making a good profit now because future valuations are all speculations and guesses. from my study, 90% of the time in an election year, the stock market stays positive for quite a long time. 2024 is no exemption, but it is better to be guided, ideally by a well experienced and licensed advisor
Agreed, instead of panic or following a hearsay, I simply adopted the service of an advisor early 2020 amid covid-outbreak, and so far, I've attained my most measurable financial milestone of $650k after subsequent investments.
It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $30k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving; great wealth managers will always make returns.

The banks can't be making money off my money, while inflation eats into it. I have set aside 650k to invest in the stock market now, since that keeps up with inflation, but I don't know how to get started.
Yes, truly, investing in the market, even if it's just the S&P 500, can keep up with inflation, because the growth rate of stocks will always exceed the inflation rate. But if you don't have the courage, you could just invest with a financial advisor, which even has greater return on investments, while securing your investment against losses.
Keeping money in the bank is like paying banks and the Govemment. Here's how it works: The bank gives out your money as loan, and charge interest obviously higher than inflation rate, and then give you, the depositor, interest lower than inflation rate. That means net loss for you. That is why I prefer to invest, and on average, my advisor makes returns that always beats inflation!

FK insurance... pay off your auto as fast as possible... then get the legally cheapest possible, maybe even liability cheapest only. why? cause the fact is when you need it... they will do everything possible to avoid paying you and set your deductible so high there is no point in using it to begin with.
It really made no sense to me that to this guys it doesn't matter whether we are right or wrong, whether the market goes up and down. We are good regardless. People are really losing a sh*t ton of money out here. I personally have been through this and all I can say is get professional information on what system fits you.
There is no way around it, you gotta create your own system from scratch which is what I've done. I just watch these guys to get different perspectives. My system is 100% accurate and has nothing to do with guessing what the Fed will do or macro economic data of any kind.
Recently started out with an investment manager and it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. When I look back, On over 150k my rate of return was 3/1.5 % on buy & hold. Disaster. Long story short I wish I could have taken this path long ago. Closed last year with a growth of 32%, I could have hit a million and more by now.

Inflation is not going to 2% until people lose jobs, and are eventually fighting over jobs and willing to take a pay cut. Fed pivot pushed out until September imo

Completely agree, every time is different and separate from past, it's how they get/hook most people in markets, especially with comparing data, people think these are 100% facts, it's not even close to truth, completely different conditions every year then year or period they are comparing it to.
Jeremy Chipotle is a stock I would recommend you to buy and sell Cake if it dips. The reason is simple, college kids, school love chipotle, way to many stores, cheap (actually they lowered their prices a bit), simple concept and always same outcome. You can’t beat me man, those guys are genius, if you think restaurant you must consider Chipotle and Texas Steakhouse. I wish Chik fil A was public that’s another must go. Screw big restaurants and mc Donald’s this is the formula

That's why individuals seek professionals support not some very cool and semi-knowledgeable guy on RUclips. Personally, I gather information on RUclips but verify with Stacey Macken . Good video in general, but stocks obliterated?! My 401k run by employer as high-risk level is down 0.03% and my main portfolio is down 0.37% and I am mostly in growth. General market isnt hurt at all it seems to me. The real narrative out there seems to be there is a huge amount of people slurping any scent of a dip. We are nowhere near a serious correction, way too much cash and greed ready for deployment, likely for the remainder of the year. You wont see real pain till after the election, when rates are actually going to get cut - and you wont be happy to see the cuts BTW.
