This doll is a total mood and I’m LIVING for it! Also, I personally think both reasons for a tattoo are good, as long as it’s what you want. I personally have a plan for both types of tattoos. The best part of them is when it does have a meaning, it doesn’t need to make sense to anyone else. Just you. A good example is a tattoo I plan on getting of glasses with an image of a tiara in it. Doesn’t make sense, but it’s a reminder/memorial for my grandfather. Since in his eyes I’m his little princess. So it’s supposed to be his glasses reflecting a tiara. It’s a beautiful story that I love. As for the non-meaningful tats, I plan on lots of skulls, flowers, and all that gothic styles

Personally, I think your first tattoo should be meaningful because you never know if it will be the only one you get or not. Also having personal sentiment towards your first one will make it all the more precious to you. And I think ink having meaning is a good way to get into it before you dive in purely for aesthetics because tastes can change and you may outgrow a style, but you'll never outgrow that personal meaning.

Yasmin: is the president of the journalism club, part of the library committee and her interest is on liberal arts. Jade: is in the designer/fashion club, goes to SAT practice twice a week and part of the student council. Cloe: is in the volley team, goes to summer camp and likes to skate in front of the school while she waits for the other girls. Sasha: she made a band club in which the four of them are part of, goes to SAT practice with Jade and is always on trend, sometimes she invites herself in the fashion club to chat with Jade and the other members, other times she will be with Yasmin to know all the tea that has been around the school and shee also records Cloe skate when they wait together. How she's able to be everywhere is still a mistery.

With Tattoos, I feel its more there as expression. I see it as a look into someone's personality and life. Its a type of artistic representation. I do like when tattoos have meaning cause that gives them more of a special place in someone's heart. However, if you want a tattoo just cause it looks beautiful or just because then that's fine too. Its ok for it to not have meaning. Just like when you buy yourself something cool like a necklace of figure. You get it cause you like how it looks or like what it stands for. As long as you know the risks, are ready to deal with pain to some extent and are ABSOLUTELY SURE on what you are getting then you should be good.
When I was a kid I had no real concept of different races, all I knew was that out of my 4 friends my skin was 2nd most tanned and I had brown hair so I always identified as the Yasmin of the group. I still love Yasmin and relate to her a lot even as an adult

Personally, I think your first tattoo should be meaningful because you never know if it will be the only one you get or not. Also having personal sentiment towards your first one will make it all the more precious to you. And I think ink having meaning is a good way to get into it before you dive in purely for aesthetics because tastes can change and you may outgrow a style, but you'll never outgrow that personal meaning.
I love the fact that you thought Yasmin and Jade were Filipino. And you still can! Even if it isn’t necessarily “canon” That’s the beauty of Bratz and their racial ambiguity. The owner can see themselves in the doll that they’re playing with. Representation of all ethnicities in fashion dolls is so important! I always thought of Yasmin as bi-racial 1/2 Latina 1/2 Arabian. Because she’s the Latina of the Bratz Pack and she was named after an Iranian woman. Yasmin is so special to me. She really is a worldly doll. She looks like she really could be from South America/ Brazil or the Middle East.

I think deeper meanings to tattoos help you not regret them when you’re way older in life. If it’s more of a whim “I want it now” kinda deal, I’ve noticed people are way more likely to regret them and either change or remove them when they’re older.

Yasmin: is the president of the journalism club, part of the library committee and her interest is on liberal arts.
Jade: is in the designer/fashion club, goes to SAT practice twice a week and part of the student council.
Cloe: is in the volley team, goes to summer camp and likes to skate in front of the school while she waits for the other girls.
Sasha: she made a band club in which the four of them are part of, goes to SAT practice with Jade and is always on trend, sometimes she invites herself in the fashion club to chat with Jade and the other members, other times she will be with Yasmin to know all the tea that has been around the school and shee also records Cloe skate when they wait together. How she's able to be everywhere is still a mistery.

With Tattoos, I feel its more there as expression. I see it as a look into someone's personality and life. Its a type of artistic representation. I do like when tattoos have meaning cause that gives them more of a special place in someone's heart. However, if you want a tattoo just cause it looks beautiful or just because then that's fine too. Its ok for it to not have meaning. Just like when you buy yourself something cool like a necklace of figure. You get it cause you like how it looks or like what it stands for. As long as you know the risks, are ready to deal with pain to some extent and are ABSOLUTELY SURE on what you are getting then you should be good.
When I was a kid I had no real concept of different races, all I knew was that out of my 4 friends my skin was 2nd most tanned and I had brown hair so I always identified as the Yasmin of the group. I still love Yasmin and relate to her a lot even as an adult
