@@kevindo179 sounds like good maintenance, but oil changes are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to sti's. There's a lot of stuff you gotta stay on top of when owning these things. One thing i could say is not to mod unless you have a good tuner close by. That's usually how people fuck up these cars by putting stupid intakes and downpipes and what not that don't do anything but hurt the car without a tune. And no... A ots tune doesn't count. $0.02

@@z_sti thanks man doing tvg deletes Perrin up pipe catted invidia dp aos and a e tune from turninconcepts I cant wait already have the Cobb intake on the car as well should be fun!

Hey man this is a stupid question but how did you get the burbles in the tune? Like what tune are you running on the car? I'm new to tuning and don't really understand, but I really want this sound on my STI
It's a burble tune from Bren tuning. You need a cobb accessport to do it. They're actually running a special and you can get an ap and the burble tune. Check it out!
Please excuse my stupidity. What's the difference between adding a cat back with stock downpipe and cat back with upgraded downpipe. I thought an exhaust system includes all the parts from the exhaust manifold till the muffler. Can someone please explain how this works?
Vignesh Swaminathan you’re good. We all got questions sometimes. From my knowledge, Catback is an aftermarket exhaust starting where it meets a downpipe to the end of the exhaust. A TurboBack starts where the downpipe meets turbo, and includes a aftermarket downpipe and exhaust. With that said, a aftermarket downpipe can add more horsepower(once tuned), and also add an aggressive deeper tone.
@@Alonzoc16 thank you. Just one more question. Does the catback work the same with naturally aspirated engines, or does the power output vary with a turbocharged one?
Vignesh Swaminathan thats honestly a great question. I am not 100% sure on that question to be honest. & I would hate to give you an uneducated answer. But I’m pretty sure that most Catbacks do increase flow which adds some horsepower regardless of turbo or not.
Damn I can’t decide on either the ETS Deletes or Nameless muffler deletes paired with likely an Invidia cat less DP. Car sounds mean tho man, and I bet it’s plenty loud . Exactly what I am shooting for. What other mods are you running BTW?
Justin Wells thanks man! I’m running a invidia catted downpipe, ebc, and an etune. I have noticed that the ets sounds much deeper imo. I would go with ets it’s the move!! Follow my insta and DM if you have any more questions! @Z_sti
Martin Umaguing etune yes I have an access port.. I have an intake it’s not on the car right now because I need bigger injectors to have the downpipe and intake on at the same time

Not for nothing you should have just went to a muffler shop told them to put 3” inch piping call it a day probably woulda cost you like $300? Maybe ish. Instead of buying a brand name “straight pipe”
This video made me decide what catback and downpipe to get. Ordering downpipe now. Lol sounds awesome man 👍🏼
by far one of the sexiest sti's i've heard o m g
Subaru my dream car
Dude sounds beautiful great job keep up the great work
I was considering upgrading my Mazda 3 to an sti, and now I know I will be upgrading to the sti hahaha
The rumble is addicting
That sounds like a beast!
Sounds good. Could the burble tune cause ringland failure at all?
The only thing that causes ringland failure on sti's is neglectful ownership.
@@BP-fx3qc I grandma my STI everytime I drive it, and oil change every 3k with motul 5w-40. Is that consider a good ownership?

whats full exhaust your running? just ets catback ehaust with invidia catted downpipe, muffler and resonator delete?

Are you running protune?
Ohloky burble tune bruh
Where are the pov shots?
What did you set your rev limiter at?
other then exhaust what else is done to make it back fire and have a spool sound?
The backfire is from the burble tune and the upgraded downpipe, which also allows you to hear that turbo better than just the catback
