I guess Sarah Michelle Gellar is the more recognizable name here, but that guy Brian Robbins has had one hell of a career for himself too. He's the president of Nickelodeon and all their related channels. He has tons of producer and writing credits, I'm assuming mostly for Nickelodeon (I'm seeing Keenan & Kel and All That among them), but also for shows that were really popular in the 2000s like Smallville and One Tree Hill. It looks like he also directed a couple of movies too like Norbit and Varsity Blues. Might not be the same household name, but it looks like he really did follow up on his ambitions to write and produce shows that he mentions here.
Soleil moon Frye is also a very recognizable name here. But also most only think of her as punky Brewster!

@@moonlitegram well my parents aren’t very familiar with Soleil but they definitely know Sarah. So idk but nobody knows who Russell is or where she is now 🤷♀️

I think I know why this show did not "get sold," Soleil Moon Frye was that girl who all boys had a crush on and therefore, too much of a threat.

Is this where the Girl Talk board game got it's inspiration? When I was a kid I used to play a game with this same name.
It was extremely popular in its first few years. I have a few Girl Talk board games (excluding its CD-ROM counterpart). These are Girl Talk Date Line, Girl Talk Secret Diary, Girl Talk 1995 Edition and Girl Talk Hannah Montana Edition. I also have 2 Girl Talk books. There is also a reboot of the Girl Talk TV show but it belongs to Viacom International.
This show came out on the same day the Sega Genesis came out in North America, I just noticed :S Damn I feel old...
hasbro is currently re-doing this show in 2015 which marked the return of soleil moon frye, sarah michelle gellar and russell koplin as older women.

@@valentinaf.9825 there were more episodes filmed. I had a 3 on video tape... I may still have them, but my old cat peed on the box that they were in, so they're kinda gross. Lol. You could look it up.. my mom ran the creative department at Western Publishing in Wi. I bet if you looked up western and girl talk, you'd find something... I've moved several times since then, but I bet I could find letters and head shots of the cast members somewhere as well if I dug. Though, they could have been lost during moves. 🤷♀️ I can't even find my birth certificate.
Anyways. I danced with Joey Lawrence, and he lent me his trench coat for the evening. He was such a gentleman.
