747 800 is longer than 747 400
A fully loaded 748F never gets off the ground unless you use the longest runway at Sydney, even then it struggles and you usually end up breaking the landing gear 😵💫
Same goes for a fully loaded MD11F.
A fully loaded 744F still uses most of the runway but will get airborne.

I was about to make a video just like this but about the B787 vs the A350, and this appeared out of nowhere. I guess we had the same idea 😂. But im loving these peformance tests, can you do a passenger version vs cargo version comparison?
btw I already made a version 787 VS A350, but there's no problem if you wanna make your version 👍
Also, I don't think it's very fair to compare cargo planes to passengers for a video, but I'll see about that
The reason why the B747-8F didn't win in terms of takeoff time because it can load more cargo than the B747-400f. Which makes it a heavy cargo loaded aircraft weight. So if you do it with no cargo you can takeoff less time that you took off. Also it requires more runway i guess.
I didn't use any cargo for the takeoff test

Although -400F won but -8F is a efficient freighter also.
In some rounds it lost because it’s bigger than the -400F and it needs more……umm I don’t know how to explain.
For example it’s bigger so it needs more runway to takeoff/land.
So good job for 747-8F and 747-400F you did a great job to!

For the final round, no shit that the 747-400F won because you touched down BEFORE THE TOUCHDOWN ZONE, and with the 747-8F you touched down WAY AFTER THE TOUCHDOWN ZONE. Not a very controlled test…
it was based on stopping time, not stopping distance... think more before commenting
