FAA Approved is all you need to know....Clearly military testing new drone tech you cant go near an airport or military base with a drone without FAA approval.

It's easy for a drone to "outrun" a helicopter and be stealth though.
@77dris This was already covered by News Nation. Drones don't go over 45 mph, and therefore cannot outrun a helicopter. As for stealth, no your commercial drone can't just dissappear like the original drones were doing. No way your explanation works.

@buzzy-230bps well they just announced the start of construction on a new drone factory connected to the DOD beside Rickenbacker air base (the former Rickenbacker OhioANG/Lockbourne AFB) in Ohio South of Columbus. It's going to go up very fast and mass produce drones for the DOD. Once operating it will employ 4000 workers to give you some ideas of the scale. I put 2+2 together with the unknown drone sightings,the fact Washington wasn't freaking out,the FAA lights on the drones,and the new factory coming in and I'm guessing the multiple sightings were a test,one that the manufacturer, now DOD contractor, passed with flying colors,and we are off to the races to start building them.
Just say Elon and Bezos were doing night experiments with those drones.

It was obvious that the FAA knew about this. All of the drones had marker lights in accordance with FAA rules, and none were shot down by the military.

I've been professionally flying drones for about 10 years now. I help farmers do field surveys but I also shoot music videos. There's no such thing as a consumer/hobbyist drone that's the size of a van. Don't trust someone who keeps calling them "Jones". She's an awful public speaker
