In Islam, the Imam never asks another person to read for him the Quran, but this pastor never memorised any bible verse by himself.

He’s not Muslim and Pastors do memorize verses, You have no idea about the black church. What he is saying is powerful and aligns with Islamic teachings about modesty.
Brother please find some thing else to talk about, the man has not committed any sins by having someone else read the book to him. Prophet Mohammed himself asked a Sahaba to read a certain verse of the Quran to him because he liked hearing the reciting of the Quran from other people.

I want to study and be Muslim. I raised my two in modesty in our church many years ago and one day they seem to be having a teen church get together and was tossing money and guys attended she felt uncomfortable and I snatched her away and never attended again.😢
*God guide me* keep that in your heart. There's no push in ISLAM, because ISLAM doesn't need human but human need ISLAM (The way to live in safe in this world and after die) i'm bad muslim because i didn't practices perfectly. But, deep down bottom on my heart ISLAM teaching is perfect.
All human born with pure and clean heart (which is mean ISLAM too because has no sins) until certain age (when they knowing about bad and good attitude).

Dear sister, there's nothing stopping you from becoming Muslim, if that's what's in your heart. Islam isn't just for Arabs, or for people from hot countries; it's Allah's gift to all of us. I would suggest you reach out to a mosque or Islamic Centre in your area, and ask for help. That's what I did, 12 years ago.
