@mikeeiland1: The announcer here is Dick Wesson, who did the honors for this show, The New Breed, 12 O'Clock High, and The Invaders. Hank Simms announced for all the other QM series.
"THE FUGITIVE"! A QM Production. Starring David Janssen as The Fugitive. Co-Starring Robert Doyle. John Anderson. Russell Collins. Johnson Pratt. Tonight's Episode: "COME WATCH ME DIE"!
Superb all-around series. This first-season episode involves a man who is accused of killing a farm couple; Kimble, identifying with the man's pleas, helps him escape a lynching - and gets burned with the man forces another couple at knifepoint to free him.
Actually, that was more the second half of the first season, the first half had William Conrad narrating the opening, it began with the words "The name, Dr. Richard Kimble, destination: Death Row, State Prison, the irony; Richard Kimble is innocent."
Wonder who the announcer was? This part is after the William Conrad narrartion. The guy who announced the guest stars and announces the show titles during this period is not Conrad.
I remember an episode where Kimble was taken prisoner by three sisters in a mountain. The sherif of the place was on his tail but Kimble has to assist because one of the sisters was about to have her baby. Kimble had to perform the birth despite the sound of the dogs in the air... Is someone can tell me which episode it was?

OMG! I remember this!
The great Bruce Dern is also in this episode, playing the son of the murdered couple.

@easyscore Bar none.
The most intellectual television introductions emanated from Quinn Martin.
