What do you think of my usual build? 2 x pioneer 1 x volks 1 x mg 2 x grenadier (1 more to replace volks if they die) 2 x rocket artillery rest depends on situation
Every unit has its uses. MG nests can often be a waste of 50 munitions if the enemy can flank them or if your enemy has a way of taking them out easily (tanks, AT guns, etc). I sometimes also just simply don't have the time to build MG nests if my Pioneers are busy and I don't want to build or can't afford another Pioneer squad.
Over the few months I've played, I started playing Defensive doctrine of the wehrmacht and the Infantry of the US. I don't know whether I'm playing Defensive right, but what I've been doing is pushing to a certain point, holding that point and supporting my allies whilst building Flaks in places I think it can hold any sort of push, and then pushing when whoever we play against stops pushing. Is there any tips you can give to better the way I play Defensive doctrine?
1.Do not become a sitting duck because artillery will cause problems. Therefore either attack decisively after effective defense or raid and harass the enemy to not give him too much rest. 2. Prioritize munitions in general to the degree that you need upgrades and abilities, especially if you know from the start that you're going Defensive 3. It seems that part of Defensive Doctrine in action is building a medical bunker and getting free grenadier squads from it. Therefore it may be prudent to focus your production resources on non-grenadier units, especially heavy vehicles in the late game
this video shows that you are allready a good coh- player. what I liked most was the gameplay in the early and mid with the mg´s. the strategy itself seems to be very strong. but an early m8 would have got you in trouble.
If an M8 had shown up before my first Storm squad, it would have done a decent amount of damage to me. However, I was buying vet around the same time he got BARs, so I knew he wasn't going to have a fast M8.
The tiger used to be 1000 manpower but it comes with a storm trooper.
wow seriously? damn that would have been cool
7 years later and this is still epic
10 years later and still epic, but in 2024 it will not be any longer Epic.
@@alexar546 Sorry, I can confirm that in 2024 it is indeed still Epic.
Yup, still very nice with mods in 2024 and multiplayer
Blitz + vet are great. I love blitz stun grenades also. Combined with mp 40 on volks, it can beat anny infanterie, specialy early on.
i really enjoy your videos and this one gave me an inspirations when i playing coh...thanks
20:05 that sniper just flew away
"So I have some leftover resources..."
Is he doing it? Is he finally going to get a Foreword base?
*Gets halftrack*
Eh, close enf :P
Haha :D
Great videos! Love these!

Not bad, but have a sniper to for recon
***** ok thanks
Epic gameplay!
I play this game on and off, and I admit I am as good as next to useless. I am puzzled why you did not build fixed mg posts?

Have you tried playing blitzkrieg mod? Its really fun and adds a lot of content, maybe you should give it a try
Is it okay I build a halftrack with the flame upgrade to counter an infantry/airborne ?
Airborne can get recoil-less rifles and riflemen have stickies so it's risky to do that
EndTaysachs how about MG teams and a few snipers?
Basically yes. Infantry doctrine gets artillery and snipers take some management but once your micro and tactics are good enough you'll make it work
