This is beautiful! As a beginner in playing the cello, I feel my fingers will never move like hers. But, it is so inspiring to see her play - anyone who ever tries something comes to respect those who are professional, she is just incredible!
please listen to the version of Pierre Fournier and you can hear a big difference. A lot of technical mistakes of herself which are obvious when the musical interpretation of Dvorak isn't correct.
@@benediktschlegel8233 What would make the interpretation "correct"? Shouldn't the music be played in a way that is emotionally meaningful to the performer? Of course some pieces are written to represent specific emotions or a specific topic, but still, every soloist plays with variation. Also, everyone makes mistakes.
@@justincushner5136 With correct interpretation I mean the vision of the composer. Yes nobody is perfect, but when you hear a real artist like Fournier, the small mistakes can be hidden. Here it's too brave with lack of power and articulation
@@benediktschlegel8233Listened to the several recordings by Fournier, while it's in his style - again too aggressive, to basic. in that style it is also easier to play - less attention to details. splitting phrases and so on.
Absolument magistral ! l'interprétation est souvent bouleversante : il ne faut pas oublier de dire que ce concerto pour violoncelle est un des plus beau du répertoire .
I have heard this concerto ever so often, and for years I have tried to play it myself, so it would of course never bring tears to my eyes... or would it, or would it?? Only an overwhelmingly beautiful performance, so sincere, so truthful.

Yes, I've seen countless people die playing the Cello. They fall by the thousands a week. I never forget this girl I saw 10 years ago, playing the Cello so beautifully and suddenly a haunting melody began erupting as the strings began strangling her. The melody ended by a shrieking note from post mortal cramping in her fingers.
Maybe Dvoräk's Cello Concerto is the best Cello Concerto ever composed.
Not Maybe
Quelle maturité, quelle magnifique interprète. Tout l'avenir devant💛
¡Sublime!

I like the slightly slower version just a bit more.. but still.. I love this and I really like Huang's style of play.
Superb control of vibrato and sound texture.
By far one of my favourite interpretations of this piece. Absolutely incredible.👏👏🌹🌹🎶🎶

Since this is concerto n.2 it iis supposed there is a n.1?. Never heard of it.
I think the no.1 is the violin concerto dvorak made and then the cello is 2nd
1st concerto was discarded in the making so yeah he named this as the second one
