    Good video , liked your doing the slide spontaneous and fun ! think you need that kind of mindset to make your videos more entertaining and adventurous, I will recommend my english learning students to watch and listen to your channel, as I will also follow your travel journey , you both seem to be saying the native towns etc correctly, I mean Madi, like the energy and vibe and positivity you have on your channel, I am keen to visit that Island sometime, cheers !

    Phu quoc slightly smaller than Singapore but only has a population of 180,000 people while Singapore has population of 5.4 million of people. Phu Quoc need to increase its population to 500-700,000 people next 5-10 years for businesses to thrive. The ideal population is 1-2 million people.

    • @madianddavid
      @madianddavid  9 месяцев назад

      That’s definitely true and very challenging for the place to have that many people even in 10 years. Hopefully, things will change so the island can reach its max potential for both the local and tourists.

    Are they really strict on bikes like some countries pull over a lot to give “tickets” aka get some $$
    What are other options to get to north?
    And what time of the year did you visit since you’re wearing sweatshirts was it cold? Thanks

    • @madianddavid
      @madianddavid  7 месяцев назад +1

      I’ve been riding my bike throughout Vietnam and only got pulled over once to blow their Breathalyzer but never got a ticket. Though I met so many foreigners here who said they got thru many parts of Vietnam with ease, I think it’s unpredictable as some places are restricted than the others. In general, the police are stationed everywhere. To avoid getting into trouble with them, abide by the speed limit (around 50km/h is safe both out and inside of cities) and don’t consume alcohol as the fine is very hefty. Also, have you license at hands too. Tips: in case a foreigner is stopped by the police, try not to speak both English and Vietnamese and don’t bribe as this will create some headaches for later travellers. Another tip: in the south, foreigners might get pulled over frequently to be asked for money, so don’t look foreign by wearing a full-face helmet. In the North, they don’t often stop foreigners except the region of Hanoi and Ha Giang. As for the weather, best time to visit the country is from September to April. In the south, it’s never cold except for Da Lat city, so I made a mistake when wearing a sweatshirt. In the North, the west and East can be super cold so you need to check the weather before packing your stuff.

      Are the streets esp by main town busy? To ride motorbikes. and is google maps pretty reliable to get us to each point?
      Is grab an option in this area too?
