Judging by the head-fi thread for these the silver version is the better sounding of the two (they're supposedly tuned differently regardless of driver materials). I have a pair and they're great, far better sounding than previous closed-back headphones I've owned.
[0:39] You show the headphones with a computer. ¿Is it right or we need an amplifer? I noteiced t saw that the impedance is not given even in the official site. What if the cable goes lost? Semms no te be easiy to find a replacement.
While your review of the headphones was super accurate you did leave out a couple of things that people should know. I will preface what I am about to say with, even with these issues, I am in absolute love and lust with them, so much so that there are three of them in my house and my wife is the only other person that live here. Yes, these headphones are amazing, I have not had the chance to listen to the UK version but the U.S. version has absolutely mind blowing sound. I have several headphones that range in price between $30 to $2000 and the 1More is the one that I reach for every time. The sound may not be as pristine as my 800 S but I find it to be more complete. When the bass hits, your ears will tickle and when the piccolo breaths into life you won't mistake it for a flute. From the bass to the treble, these are the most acoustically complete set of headphones I have ever owned. The build is solid and unlike my Sennheisers, they don't feel as though they are going to break if I pull on them too hard (not knocking Sennheiser, I own several of their headphones). The cable leaves a little to be desired with it being less than five feet long and rather fragile feeling after the split. The worst part of these headphones was mentioned by the reviewer and is going to be further explained by me. They are advertised as over ear headphones but that would only be true if you have the ear size of a 12 year old. These sit solidly on your ears which would not be too bad had the headband not been so well constructed out of metal. You see for people with big heads and ears, these headphones will become very uncomfortable after having them on for a short while. With the cup sitting on the ear all of the pressure from the headbands clamping force is transferred to the outer ear. I find myself holding the cups in my hands as I listen in order to relieve the pressure it exerts and ease the pain on my ears. I also find myself shifting them from one position to another quite a bit and while that does not diminish the sound, it has caused me to rub the skin on my ear raw. Now I know some of you are by now asking why it is that I still have them, the answer is simple... they are the best sounding headphones I have ever owned. The quality of sound may not be that of a 2k pair of headphones but they for sure beat anything I have till I get to my LCD-2 classic. The difference is that while they may not have the clarity that the lcd 2, stax or 800s has, they have a much broader sound spectrum. I can use my stax or 800s to listen to certain genres and my audeze or mrspeakers for others and get better sound, the 1More will play all genres and sound great doing it. So in the end, while the form may be lacking a bit, the function is absolutely amazing.
Do they sound as good as this guy described, because I know that there are two colors, and they both sound different, so if you have the grey one, it probably sounds different. Do they sound as good as he described, cause I want to know which color to get. Thank you so much!
@@theprinceofeverything1975 They sound as good as he claims and more. If I were to grade it against the list of headphones I own, I would say that the sound reproduction, clarity and range beats everything I own until I get to my focal elex. Just keep in mind that these are not all day comfort headphones. I do not use them much anymore because while they are advertised as over ear, they are actually on ear and do get painfully uncomfortable, but, I also have to say that I have a large head and large ears. My wife on the other hand has no problems with them. These headphones are very much worth the price as long as they fit properly. I hope that helps.
@@NoWokeSpeak thank you it does. Can you tell me if you got the silver version because I know they sound different, and I want to buy whatever you bought. Thank you so much!

I wonder if it's worth using a DAC for better audio with these such as the iFi hip-dac portable DAC/headphone amp ($149), or is that intended for better audiophile headphones?

It's 2021 now and I've just ordered the gold(ish) version, I thought that the difference between the two was just the colors, the gold(ish) version was slightly more expensive actually . I've bought them from Aliexpress and they shipped it just hours after I placed my order so I didn't have the time to ask them to change. I hope that by now they have sorted the differences between the two, because there must be a huge difference in sound signature if graphene (really?) was changed for titanium.
I've got them about two weeks ago and I love how they sound, graphene or titanium. The problem is that the right ear pad started to show cracks and peeling just five days after I got them. I've contacted the seller but they just offered me a five dollars discount on my next purchase. There is a tutorial on how to change the pads, I'll have to do it very soon.
North American models have a graphene driver, actually, and are silver in color.
