I'd honestly like to see something akin to the moons in clan gen when saga comes out; we follow the packs moon by moon like we would the clans, going over their adventures from hunting, finding their mates, establishing territory (as well as dealing with rivals and predators) and, raising pups year after year - with maybe a few side adventures with the pups as well.
i went to a wolf center yesterday and learned that breeding pairs are strongly connected and if a wolf looses its mate it will mourn for days. That made me think about West and Amanita, and i hope we dont loose one of them
I adore the way you draw wolves < 3 edit- YES! i would loveee to see playthroughs of the packs, especially if you choose to play as their pups! i think it would be a super interesting series that i would love to follow. Also would love to see some gameplay/screenshots and doodles of the wolves past just their designs, like the interactve peices you drew! PS. wouldnt be suprised if the girlie who lost her pup left that mate.

The surviving pups are so adorable though! I hope most of the remaining pups make it. Dandi has her work cut out for her if Buck continues refusing to help during the coming lean fall months.... Ah! Amineta and West are SO cute together in your pic! I hold higher hopes for their puppers making it to adulthood, since their synergy together will help make the difficult quest ahead more bearable.
Absolutely love this series! Never played that game myself but it's so wonderful to hear how you are worried about the pups. Sounds so fun! And all these different personalities, it's super interesting to hear about the packs! 😍🥰

Always a joy to see you draw your wolves! But oof goooood luck with 6 pups. September is brutal. I fear for Dandi and her pack (and the others) cause it not only killed my main wolf as she tried to feed her FIVE, but also resulted in the death of one pup who got too hungry and low on health to keep up. Their dad had to move the pack quickly to a found moose carcass across the lake that offered them hope. While I found him again he died shortly after. But hey, the rest survived (so far!) and are now yearlings. The mate's new mate was a lifesaver. I'll try going more nomadic next time to see if hunting cow elk is more worth the trouble (on accurate it's really tough though since they're so strong) til the calves get their adult colours. Meat chunks, regurgitation and even beavers don't give enough. I saw you posted a saga episode, I'll check it out next. Keep up the great work!

(also playing on Challenging til I'm more comfortable going back to accurate aha) 3 yearling daughters dispersed together the year prior, followed by my eldest pup dispersing on his own the same year but a bit later. Just came off of the last drawing wolfquest video, and dang it Buck! This does make me want to try drawing my pack, because my main new gal Valleydusk, who was one of my previous wolf Dustbone's many pups prior to saga, already has quite a number of kills under her belt from the first litter alone. She and her mate Shadowchomper had four pups, one dying so close to the year mark (rip Wiggle), and during the time raising them, she killed ten wolves, including the one that killed her runt and causing the original packs around her territory to disband and get replaced by new ones, several coyotes, one puma, and nearly did a bear in. With the beta Saga out, she's one her second litter with Shadow that has seven puppies and her previous litter around to help in. The girl managed to outlive five rival packs, and only one of those packs was not disbanded because she took out one or both of the leads. Playthrough went much more ruthless than I thought going in. I do a hunting quirk for each of my wolves, and since Dustbone is 'dead' in My Wolves, Valleydusk got his quirk, which is hunting beaver like he did.

All of Heathers (my wolfquest lady wolf) puppies are around 19 pounds, and the smallest is Fern, and he's around 18.7 pounds, the biggest puppy is mountain, and I believe he is around 19.5 pounds, good luck to your packs, oh, and Heathers mate is Norris, named after a place in Yellowstone national park 😁 🐺

Only reason for a wolf to change partner is their dead or sickness. It's not like with horses
