I heard her tell a story in some Lempicka press this spring of going on for Nessa the first time - apparently, her face when she rolled out in the wheelchair the first time was frozen in a hilariously giant smile. 😂 She went on for Nessa before Elphaba, and in fact, based on the date, I can’t help wondering if this was the first time. If so, it would have been her Broadway debut.
I only have Maureen and Elphaba as examples. And maybe there are just those two. But sincerely, everything that Idina does, when Eden touches that later, it goes from gold to diamond!! Wish somehow we had an opportunity to have Eden as Elsa too. And give Eden all the freedom to riff the f*ck out of the song!
