You treated that salesman perfect. I have NO problem with asking the right questions. If they want to be in that line of work. They should expect serious questions. Just my thoughts, Ron
Look at all the yougin with scat and cats what you think that the price would go down ? You ever heard of offer and demand you and the guy in the video with his rented lambo complaining about the high prices lol what do you drive nissan altima ? Shut up broke boi
You should go to a different manufacturer. Maybe a Ford dealership and see if they’re doing that on mustang GT’s and dork horse and whatever else. I bet that would be entertaining as well!😆
10:22 They park a "$100,000" car on the dirt, not a truck, but this car. That makes me want to race over there to buy it, and they had to drive over a curb to get it into the planter.
Man, I thought these prices for scats and hellcats would drop by now but guess not. The dodge dealer in the Monrovia area are still charging a high mark up for there chargers and challengers. Last year back in October, the dealer was charging a mark up of $15k on a 2023 dodge charger GT. Basically paying RT/ scatpack price for a V6 charger.
Lmao, when you showed that hornet at the dealership I work at, we have only sold 1, and it's that exact color, and the person bought it because they think it will save the bee's 😂... for me the superbee isn't all that and definitely don't like that color

My old dealership was the same way with the dodge viper. The vehicle never sold, it sat in the showroom for 3 years before the owner bought it and put it in his personal collection
Not me. They only made so many of them and every one that gets wrecked is another one we lose. When they force electric cars on us we’ll be sad that so many were lost. Just like all the muscle cars that were killed when they weren’t worth much, now no affordable muscle cars are left. When I was in high school you could get a ‘69 Camaro for $2000, now a shell costs that much
So true, the front line is just a mirror image of the management there. Sooooo how you filmed it is how it goes when you don't want to get screwed. Let em cry
If anyone buys a vehicle sitting on a lot for a year or more get it checked out. Check out some videos of what happens to today's fuels after it's been sitting for 6 months or longer. Older gasoline up to the 90's used to turn to varnish. Today's fuels turn to a type of hard crystally gunk that will destroy a fuel system.
We should also suspect the oil and filter as being bad after a year, and change both immediately. That's an add-on that a dealership should put on the stickers of these unwanted cars.
So glad I'm retired and bought a used 2009 Jeep Liberty back in 2010 and a used 2007 BMW Z4 with less than 24,000 miles back in 2013. The Jeep tows my Airstream and my 3 dogs just perfectly and I've now got a fun Z4 for my Oregon back winding roads! Who needs one of these ripoffs and I have nothing to prove driving a $100,000 tire burner.
If a dealer has a new car in stock for 1yr , the dealer has to write a check to the bank to pay the car off (floor plan). The bank owns the new cars. In some state when the dealer has to pay the car off it is considered used ........
And don't forget. When you bring in a vehicle to trade with actual valuable mods and add-ons. They tell you it doesn't increase the value. Sorry the 60k you want we can't do. The best we can offer is 45k
I think a good analogy of what could happen to the value of these performance Dodges in the future is the 1987 Buick Grand National and GNX. Not the absolute values but the trends after they were made. Theres an obvious additional complication that these cars will be dependent on software that may not be available in the future and may render the car obsolete.
Won't happen unless it's been sitting for decades & decades. Only the low milage GN's & GNX's are drawing crazy money. And your lucky if you're doubling what you paid new. That'll take 1,000 to 2,000 original mile cars to get high dollar money.
Great stuff Brad, if these sales people are going to spew this BS and you teach them a thing or two, it's on the job training. You are so much nicer to them then I am
Good ol' Anaheim. I remember when this dealership used to be over at the corner of Anaheim Blvd and Ball Rd. I used to get my Ram 1500 serviced here they were less than motivated to do ANY kind work over oil changes, tire changes etc.
I recently inquired about a new manual hc and the dealership quoted me 20k under sticker of my year old scat. MSRP of 59k (purchase slightly under 55k), dealership offered 39k
But did you tell them it’s one of the last ones and they aren’t making them anymore? Lol. Crazy how they say that and expect big money and on trade they get amnesia.
It not just dodge , you have to include FORD , GM , and all the others not fighting back but instead allowing it and marking up the MSRP from the manufacturer.
The first dealership l worked for was McPeek Chrysler Plymouth in Anaheim, Ca. It was a “TO” store so after being “written up” you got to meet everyone in the sales and finance departments before running away while not buying a 2.2 liter Reliant, Lebanon or New Yorker. I became a closer then went into the finance department. I was there for five years and every deal was a emotional breakdown. However, when l got to Norm Reeves Honda, I was stronger than dirt.
My belief is these dealerships are sticking to markups because they are hoping to get the floorplan repossessed. They have no choice but to go this route. It’s smarter than selling at a loss. They know they won’t sell at auction and Stellantis will end up having to buy the cars back from the bank otherwise they risk none of there cars ever getting financed in the future.
If you’re buying a car, you only need to speak to the salesman. That’s his job, not the general manager. Having a salesman say that he needs to see his manager, is sign one they are dishonest. Speaking of what car you drive to a dealer, I had ordered my new Challenger, and then wrecked my van. So I was without wheels and rented a car. Driving into a used car dealer in a brand new car got the salesman excited. Told it was a rental, I wrecked my van. He wasn’t as happy but gave me a great deal. I didn’t tell him that I had a new car on order.
Dealership are in real trouble. Flooring costs are through the roof. Salesman are on the chopping block if they don’t follow the sales manager bs they will be fired immediately.

I sold in 2015 when the Hellcats came out. The desk manager is beside himself on those decisions as well and it was crazy there was 15,000 deposits just to even discuss the sale of the car. GMs were the issue as well. It's a gross amount of greed disguised as "fair market prices".
You treated that salesman perfect. I have NO problem with asking the right questions. If they want to be in that line of work. They should expect serious questions. Just my thoughts, Ron
No way should a scatpack cost as much as a 2018 srt demon. I mean damn this car costs as much as a 2014 gt500 super snake back then. 😂
I bet that would be entertaining as well!😆
@@bobbyjones2112 good idea 👍
Their sales manager needs to be fired forthwith. In fact, the whole management team needs to be shuffled to have so many cars sitting for a year
What we need to get to the bottom of is, who is buying any new cars right now. Because whoever it is is screwing up the whole market!
10:22 They park a "$100,000" car on the dirt, not a truck, but this car. That makes me want to race over there to buy it, and they had to drive over a curb to get it into the planter.
I cant wait to see dodge gameplan when the 2025z show up and they still have a full parking lot of 2023z 😂😂
Yes I like these types of videos. But also like the ones covering the manufacturer and people who need help.
Thanks for all the efforts of going to dealerships!
My old dealership was the same way with the dodge viper. The vehicle never sold, it sat in the showroom for 3 years before the owner bought it and put it in his personal collection
When he pulled up do our dealer we asked if he needed help and replied with "no bro, unless you offer back rubs"
Love seeing scat packs totaled on police pursuits and LRHN
Not me. They only made so many of them and every one that gets wrecked is another one we lose. When they force electric cars on us we’ll be sad that so many were lost. Just like all the muscle cars that were killed when they weren’t worth much, now no affordable muscle cars are left. When I was in high school you could get a ‘69 Camaro for $2000, now a shell costs that much
At 300+ days that dealership is probably into that super bee for over a 100k 😂
Love watching this kind of videos
Wait until he finds out people sell things on Amazon for more then retail , sir you don’t have to buy the car keep it moving
8:04 my wife is the same way with some of the loud color options I like 😂😂
A markup on a hornet 😂
Back in February I bought a standard body hellcat Challenger for under MSRP. Don't ever pay a mark up.
The modern dealership model has to change if car companies want to sell cars it's ancient
It's not about dodge it's about the fact that dealerships still ask for arms and legs for a vehicle
“Don’t be that guy”… 💯
Their sticker prices are 5-10 year speculation prices for a car you cant buy anymore
I had ADM’s on mine. I made dealer remove them from the price and then got it 5k below MSRP. The same Super Bee you looked at.
Actually dealer screwed up the paper work and I threatened to return the car and I got the car for 11,576 under MSRP. LMAO
If a dealer has a new car in stock for 1yr , the dealer has to write a check to the bank to pay the car off (floor plan). The bank owns the new cars. In some state when the dealer has to pay the car off it is considered used ........
I thought you were completely reasonable honestly. Then again, I don't like when people make shit up. So I think you were very generous.
And don't forget. When you bring in a vehicle to trade with actual valuable mods and add-ons. They tell you it doesn't increase the value. Sorry the 60k you want we can't do. The best we can offer is 45k
That dealer if always sketchy i would never send no one worst dealer
🎉There is no steak dinner at that salesman table..
Every year those cars sit the APR goes up because the bank can’t value the collateral as new if it’s 2 or 3 years old.
It not just dodge , you have to include FORD , GM , and all the others not fighting back but instead allowing it and marking up the MSRP from the manufacturer.
Just drive to Texas and get any of those for nearly 40K less.
Hey can you do a dealer visit and compare different markups and tell us how to talk dealers off them. Keep up the great work 👍🏽
You the best OC!
She’s not wrong about the color
They have a super bee near me for 56. I'm trying to get them to 50k
where
Plenty of challenger hellcat last calls for under 70k brand new in oklahoma.
@@GR-ju4db yeah it’s narrow body, I was just saying cause of the video showing that narrow body for 114k is crazy. I got a 2020 dodge charger wb hc Daytona 11k miles. I bought a 23’ narrow body challenger and didn’t like it traded it for the Daytona and I’m in love rn with it.
@@GR-ju4db nice I was honestly thinking of going back to a wb scat ngl but dealers weren’t really willing to take my trade in for a cheaper car. The hellcat is nice I won’t complain but there’s really not enough road or places to really enjoy it where I’m from in Kansas. That’s dope man congrats on the wb sp
